I think he can sound like a bit of a dork at times when he says a few things, but I do like how he breaks down plays in a simple way and isn't dull. Sounds like hes a bigger bro or friend explaining parts of the game to you. That's how he comes off to me.
He analyzes and calls the play before it happens. Tells you why a play works or doesn't. Gives you insight into what a QB is looking for and what he is trying to do. Best color guy/analyst since Madden.
he really gets into the emotion of the game while giving really good insight that doesn't feel too overwhelming for the casual viewer. He'll learn to not spew too much over time; but he's refreshing compared to other announcing teams.
I would expect better camera coverage for a playoff game Â

Yep. Guy loves the game.
He has great insight but he talks way too much.

I don't think he does, at all. Really good insight. Love listening.

It was a joke B in Alb. Are you the only one on BBI that’s allowed sarcasm?

had a 28 on the Wonderlic, which is exactly the same as Drew Brees and Peyton Manning scored.
And Jacoby Brissett has a 29
This guy with the Brissett nonsense again? Come on.
Said the same thing. Sad!

I know bud. Tongue in cheek. I thought your post was funny.

Oh noooo! Wow! Oooohhhh!
Relax.

He's a fan today. Teams are sucky and he's entertaining.
They just ignore the inconclusive standard. It’s ridiculous.
Amazing how bad these QBs are. If Eli was on either team they would winning easy.
It was very clear. Whole right foot was out.
What was called on the field needs conclusive evidence to overturn, yet we see different standards from crew to crew on what is conclusive.
They just overturned the call on the field using a camera shot from far away that didn't show if the player was definitely out of bounds.
That really shouldn't ever happen, but it isn't even that uncommon anymore.
I like him a lot as the analyst and I created a thread a while back praising his performance.
I'm just saying that today he's not as good as I've heard him in previous games. That's all.
I agree.
I don't mean to be unkind to rugby....
