Looks like they had the right defense called. Safety help over the top. Corner just got beat on an absolutely perfect throw. And the safety slow to get over there

On the Ginn TD. His feet just got inside the pylon with the ball held high in his right hand and away from his body to the sideline. One of us thinks the ball didn't cross the plain and the other thinks it doesn't matter because his feet crossed the plain and had possession.
Any help? Rewind it and look where the ball was as his body crossed the goal line.

I saw the same thing on the replay. It seemed to me the ball went out of bounds to the right of the pylon because of his outstretched arm. Because of that I didn't think that was a TD, but what do I know.

Thanks. I'm with you. That settles it. Still undefeated against my boy...lol

didn’t rewatch it..but the rule is the ball not the player must cross the goal line. so if it didn’t, it’s not a TD regardless of where his feet are.

Are they the best team left in the NFC playoffs. Seem to be the most balanced. I didn't really watch them this year, but the defense seems much improved.
It will be very hard after this performance. Whether his fault or not, I doubt ownership will agree to hire Wilks after watching this. It may not be on Wilks, but I don't know how he will overcome the notion that he is not ready for a head coaching job after this shellacking, whether it is appropriate or not.
So WILKS

a defensive guy will be our HC and looks like shit. So now we will have a PC HC pick like Reese was for GM. Sick of this BS
Reese was a PC pick? But McAdoo wasn't - because he's white?

This kind of shit is just ridiculous.
He's making an ass of himself in the other thread too. Just ignore the troll.
Saints defense looking like the Panthers defense. Â
Do you realize that every single one of your posts on this thread is in reference to the Panthers defense? Some of them mention the Saints offense which is obviously throwing digs at the defense.
We get it. You don’t want Wilks. What is the purpose of regurgitating the same things over and over and over again? We get it. You don’t think Wilks is worthy. Can you move on now or start a “Dave in Hoboken is against hiring Wilks” thread? If you’re looking for attention on the matter that’s probably the best place to accomplish it.

Me being critical of the Saints defense was just that. So what if I compared them to the *thus far* under-performing Panthers defense?
if he's trying to look like a hipster, then he is failing horribly. I think he looks like a smacked ass anyway, but now he looks like an unshaven smacked ass.

Bucks always been very hipster-like
If newton isn't taken out of game for concussion protocol Â
a hit on Newton. Full credit to him for trying to continue the play after escaping from the first tackler, but he turned right into the second without any chance to avoid him. Talk about no good deed ever going unpunished. Now in concussion protocol. Hope he's OK.
If they never took him to the locker room? New Concussion protocol is that he is required to be evaluated in locker room
They said he went into a tent on the sidelines.
I think they changed that to requiring inside a locker room evaluation
Quote:
Revised NFL concussion policy: "Require a locker room concussion evaluation for all players demonstrating gross or sustained vertical instability (e.g., stumbling or falling to the ground when trying to stand)."
with 2 minutes left and no timeouts unless the Saints go for it on the other side of the 2 minute warning. Panthers have bottled up that Saints run game well
YEP.
That's 'fundamental football' of making an interception vs. 'situational football' and just knocking it down.
We'll never know if the 20 yds made a difference to the ending.
To their credit, and its painful to give them any, but THAT is the kind of thing that makes NE/BB great.
check that..second snap
How do you miss that.

How excited will everyone be for signing Wilks tomorrow

Yep. At least reviewable. Thanks.
So you want to make a decision based on ONE HALF of one game?
You’re brilliant...
A “PC” HC? Just like Reese was a second GM? Aren’t you missing your KKK meeting you ignorant shit stain?
Both games in the NFC should be good ones. The AFC on the other hand....
If nothing else, it's a chance for Wilks to show prospective employers how brilliantly he adjusts at halftime when his defense is getting rolled.

Could very well.
The time to pass is on third down.
Yup, no question about the intentional grounding
No way Philly survives Ryan or Brees and Minnesota's defense. Good night.
Eric Allen, former HC of the Raiders.
Oy!
Yep I thought he had a good shot at that
Oy!
Someone give him a breathalyzer and a drug test.
Minny will shut them down
exactly playing to win instead of not to lose
Women everywhere going bonkers for the L. Girl Power!
Cam is the only reason they had a chance. And they win this game if that dude didn’t drop that TD in the first half

Held Ingram and Kamara in check and came up with a critical stop at the end of the game.
Then you come to BBI and see sarcastic threads about “our future head coach”
That was much closer than what everyone thought
