calling on the leagues top rusher more than 11 times in game you lose by 1 point gets you a HC gig... Nice...
I'm not sure he called the plays, Reid was holding the play chart and speaking into his headset during play calls. A curious time for Reid to take back play calling, if true.
Maybe that was Nagy's pitch - hey, we were 5-0 with me calling plays, until that fat fuck changed his mind!

That is classic Andy Reid. Over reliance on the passing game
Chiefs OC for 1 year.
I guess they are hoping Andy Reed's "QB Genius" where's off on this guy. I wonder how many boxes this guy checked for the Bears fans?

will handle going from being a coordinator to a head coach which is a totally different skill set. How many times the OC in KC ran the ball Saturday has zero to do with whether or not he'll be a good HC. Who knows what his marching orders were from Andy Reid?
Head Coach in the NFL is a really difficult job. There are so few good game day coaches. So few who can manage the clock at the and of halves and games, use the 2 pt conversation correctly, adjust during games on the fly.
But putting a staff together and the other 6 days of the week are just as important in a different way in 2018. Tom Coughlin was great the other 6 days, not so great at putting together a staff and pretty good on game game day until his last few years. It's impossible to know until a guy has the job.
to the Bears and Raiders having coaches alread is they get first access to the pool of assistants.
That is true, but I'm sure most of the guys interviewing have an idea of who they want to work with, and have spoken to them about it. If you're a defensive coach, and you're close to, say, McDaniels, you may wait before agreeing to work for Nagy.
Who in their right mind would work for da Bears. Cheapest owners ,even cheaper than Marlins.
Town is still living in 1985, my guess is that is the pay structure.
At least the Browns have tons of draft picks.
Alex Smith had a great year and Mahomes looked pretty good in his start, especially considering how raw he was considered as a prospect. This is a good move for a team that is looking to develop their young QB. Trubisky is also very athletic so he can incorporate some of the RPO concepts that they use in KC.
Re: Nagy and Gruden might have a beef as to who is the best Arena QB Â
First, here is a link to Nagy's player stats in the Arena League:Nagy
Now Gruden: Player Link, and Coaching Link. Gruden was a much better player (From ArenaFan)
Quote:
Played six seasons with the Tampa Bay Storm, leading the team to a 68-13 overall record as the team`s starting quarterback and four ArenaBowl championships. He was named League MVP in 1992 and MVP of ArenaBowl VII. Gruden was inducted into the Arena Football Hall of Fame in 1998.
The best coach is the THIRD current Arena football QB coaching in the NFL...Sean Payton!
New Bears’ HC Matt Nagy has successfully recruited DC Vic Fangio, convincing him to stay in Chicago on a three-year contract, per source. Link - ( New Window )
Probably more like the worst coach who was an Arena QB but.....
Wilks- Giants
Shurmur- Cardinals
Patricia- Lions

I do not think McDaniels wants any part of the Colts Job. Lunetic owner and no clear answer at QB
That door us now closed.

Not a bad bet.

Hoping they've found the next Sean McVay
I'll be shocked if this works out for the Bears.
Defensively you have some good pieces, and offensively you need an Oline, and game changing RB.

Which turned out to be a big mistake. Same thing happened to Doug Pederson.

We're also the sluttiest, so we win both ways.

Like when the Eagles hired that former QB Doug Pederson?
Doug Pederson! Hahaha!!
Uggggg...
Both these guys are riding the coattails of their head coaches.

Jesus, this place is absolutely insufferable right now.

You should probably take a break for a couple of months.
Come back when you can handle all of this.
No beef there, Fatman!
