from '86-'94. The building was 500,000 sq. ft. They had an operator available to page folks throughout the building. Every few days, some jackass would prank an operator with a fake name. They did not have the ability to trace when the request came from.

What I didn't find very funny was idiots having Dr. Josef Mengele or similar paged to an extension.

Once, I called the operator and had "Buster Hyman" paged to call an extension. The operator gave me some shit about it but eventually went through with the building-wide page!
