It seems apparent that McAdoo put together a good staff.

Cignetti, Graham, Sullivan, Henry all hired already. Too bad the year went to crap despite that.
Surprised Spags hasn’t hedged his bet at all..

He hasn’t interviewed anywhere else.

... and if the Giants don't keep him, he may be in a position to take a little time off and get a good job later.
The two coaches

that I wanted to see retained were Graham and Henry.
I belive Spags was a LB coach for the Eagles

way back when...maybe he is angling for that position.
Spagnuolo has cultivated 2 career

What constitutes a good staff?

Does getting hired by another team mean the staff was good?

I'd like to see successful player development, and a winning record to judge a staff as having been good. Sullivan and Cignetti didn't have Davis Webb ready to play even 1 snap.
Didn't TC bring in Sullivan?

I dont know how he would be in a position to get a good job later. His resume quite simply isn't very good. Yes he directed the 2007 defense but he's had a handful of historically bad seasons too. He doesnt get enough blame for what happened to the Giants in 2017, either.

Bringing Spags back would be a huge mistake.
Sullivan accepted a lower position

How is he considered good?
I don't think guys getting hired to the same or lesser positions

qualifies as a good staff. Plus, in the last two years, in my opinion, there wasn't a single unit that showed significant improvements. Some were downright terrible for the entire two years. So, no, i dont thi k it is a good staff, nor do I want a single coach retained.

Did anyone ever think maybe no other teams came calling for Spags as a HC, as opposed to he decided not to interview? He's coming off a mediocre D that looked awful at points in the season, and his resume isn't really as strong as some like to think.
If Spags wants to stay on as a LB coach, great.

I think Graham was a good hire. Sorry he is leaving.

Some of you are brutal and vindictive.

Two weeks after the season ended, 4 coaches have been hired by other teams. Means they were looked upon quite favorably in the league.
Sullivan wasn't getting an OC call this soon, but QB coach is a very good place to restart the career, especially with a team that hopes to draft their future franchise QB this spring. So I guess Elway liked what he saw. We never really knew what kind of OC Sullivan was as McAdoo kept that to himself for 24 of 32 games, or so.
and he still sucked

gives you a clue as to just how far over his head he was.
