A guy posted like he was a foreigner planning a trip to NYC and wanted to know which restaurant served the best bologna sandwiches.
Other posters kept trying to get him to admit that it was all a joke, but he stayed in character and kept insisting that he really needed to find the best bologna sandwich restaurant in NYC.
Funny moment when a troll hijacked a bunch of threads, timed it Â
By far was the one that started with that dude who makes wine in Israel drunkenly posting about some hot chick he talked to 30 years prior. Then having him post a picture of his wife to prove his good taste (bbi was shockingly kind). Leading to another guy posting a picture of his girlfriend whose account had naked pictures of her and who turned out to be one of those chicks who strips for money on the internet. Then having people argue with her on Twitter after posters made fun of her crazy eye brows and ending with Anak pseudo hitting on her/apologizing. That was sprinkled in with some guy constantly posting about how much he loves cam girls and how it’s his favorite way to use disposable income. It was internet lunacy at its finest.

Yeah the wine guy is that same one who claimed all he has ever dated was nothing but 10's his whole life and that was not a parody acct, it was a real member of the board
one I didn't see: when someone posted asking for help with a used car they'd purchased, and another poster actually went and helped with the car without knowing each other/meeting before.
Ummmm, I don’t remember those particular threads but I think you may have been on the receiving end of another BBI pastime...
Actually that was Jay in Toronto who wanted to buy a used car on Sanibel Island and I sent one of my mechanic friends to check it out for him.
And I've not been very active in recent years. But this thread is bringing back a lot of memories. Tommer, Clydez, CiP, Steve in Reno. Amazing.
I always wondered how people could come to a message board just to read and never say anything. It is almost creepy... like watching someone through a window at night and they don't know you are there.

Good old Blue Lou, who also talked about how hot his niece is. Interesting guy to talk to, but he sure said some very weird things.
Who posted a long, long rant about getting a turkey sandwich with too much mayo, accompanied by pics of said sandwich. I'm pretty sure that was the "grip strength" guy.
and Marty and some other locals would go to practices, and put a lot of time and effort into drafting training camp reports. Was one of the best things about BBI

Ah, ok, lol. I thought he had been duped by those threads where one guy tells a story about an encounter he had and another poster would post the same scenario awhile later from the other persons perspective. Those threads got redundant but there was a few that were pretty hysterical, especially when posters reading the second, fake story didn’t catch on...
Actually Gorga was okay with it. He said something along the lines like "What else would M stand for, Malcom?" Something to that effect after other people were bashing the OP who actually used his full name.

I vaguely remember that one. Is that the one where he later called corporate, which in turn got the sandwich artist fired?
RE: RE: Mgorga getting mad that someone posted his real name Â

Yeah, but when it was discovered he was on another site dedicated to Politics and some of that stuff got quoted on here he briefly left then came back under a different name. Everyone realized who he was and he got all upset and complained to Eric about anyone using "mgorga" to address him.

Ah yes you're right. That was when he went by FilmGiant
1. The thread about another thread on another forum where a guy posted a pic of his "hot" gf posing with his car. the hilarity and photoshopping that ensued was hilarious!!
2. Bavarofan pissing himself.
3. The MiS, Where Art Thou thread. creepy, mentally disturbed but funny.
4. The guy mad that his coworkers taking time off for their kids...err i mean fu#$trophies
5. The guy teaching his daughter to stab kids in the eye with a pencil.
they always went out of control. The Sean Bennett obsession was gold and yea, I'll never forget the absurd predictions that year. The Giants were predicted to be the best offense of all time...if only
But I loved some of the animated pics and gifs, which used to be done a lot more but has fallen off over the years.
People used to always post these pics with Coughlin's/Shockey's/Eli's heads photoshopped into other pictures. There was also that recurring famous painting of a dark city corner, with people sitting at the corner bar, with Giants coach/player/BBI posters' heads superimposed in the picture.
Also, Chris in Philly, during the 2011 playoff run, would draw comics after each playoff win. I still remember printing out and reading each of the comics to my then-4 year old each week. Thank you, CiP.
We need some animation/photoshopping back on BBI!!
he really knew how to get a thread to explode -- he did one once about a shed in his backyard and the problems it was causing that I literally had tears rolling down my face for hours laughing over

Flounder's Does LA. Flounder announces that he's flying to LA to appear on Tosh.0. Everyone posts pics and gifs of plane crashes.
Trent. Bles rande hart
The escapades of Luis in NJ and his hot dog cart.
Anything involving CiP and Steve in Reno.

Good old Blue Lou, who also talked about how hot his niece is. Interesting guy to talk to, but he sure said some very weird things.
These included a closed area press conference, locker room attendance, a job around Giant's stadium with Tom Coughlin, etc.
The poster had pictures of all this stuff proving it to be true.
Anyone else remember?
No.
That webcam girl thread was fantastic. Eye brows looked like her face was taken over by caterpillars. Fantastic.
I didn't think that was Blue Lou, but maybe I'm wrong.

No, read the post again. The first part is talking about Lou, the second part is talking about a different guy, the one with the webcam girl.

So nothing funny happened here post 2008 that is worthy of noting?
No.

Anak following Reese (or was it Accorsi) in midtown was great too.
And Filthy's Epic threads that would last for weeks were truly epic.
"I have special status on BBI because I once gave Eric a ride from the airport"
That was his claim, yes.

He doesn't post here, but he's still alive and kicking - he was in the BBI fantasy football league with a bunch of us this year.

I recall going back and forth with him on BBQ. Nice guy. He still around?

Well, he was a little more than a veteran poster.
