We have our new HC. Do not know who yet. I know its not exactly groundbreaking information but i figured i would share...my assumption is its Wilks, but that is a guess. Either way, we apparently have our new coach.

Yes, but I can’t see Shurmur taking calls with his agent in the day or two leading up to a huge home game. There’s a lot that goes into the head coach hiring in terms of responsibility and allowances on staff and programmatic changes they want made. Not just the legal and financial.
Hitdog stating today to not rule out McDaniels would lead me to believe McDaniels is the guy. He didn’t exactly say that but hitdog has a very cryptic way of announcing things without announcing it. And he’s as tuned in as anyone on this site.
on a coach that is not active in the playoffs. The Giants would likely not announce it this weekend. The NFL would probably frown upon making an announcement on a playoff weekend.

That’s how i understand it. i dug up the article of the rule changes from last March and it was the last one on there.
They also have agents that do this work for them so I wouldn't completely rule it out.

Wilks would have been announced already. Wilks may be a great coach, but they should have jumped on him earlier this week for optics.
NO ONE is talking Giants with McDaniels. No one. Maybe they hammered something out regarding personnel say & QB at number 2.
