We have our new HC. Do not know who yet. I know its not exactly groundbreaking information but i figured i would share...my assumption is its Wilks, but that is a guess. Either way, we apparently have our new coach.
Have wanted him fired for years. His leadership of “looking ahead to the Pats in the AFCC” was really hallmark. Can’t believe he said it on national TV too.
He’s had his team in the hunt for a SB every single year he’s been there. They are the most consistent team year to year in the league not named the Pats. He’s won Super Bowls. He has an incredible win/loss record. Yeah, he sucks.

has a career record of 116-60. In his 11 years as HC he has never had a losing record. He has won 10 or more games in 8 of his 11 seasons including the last four years. I don't understand how anyone can claim that he is a bad coach.

Patricia was the biggest roadblock between Gettleman and Wilks as ownership wanted Patricia. They got confirmation that Patricia is going to Detroit and decided to start wrapping up the search with Wilks. Finalizing terms.

Exactly. Hearing from who? I had no idea who this guy was so I checked out some of his posting history to see what kind of info he’s shared to see if he is legit. He’s basically a Wilks fanboy who has been calling for Wilks and got upset when they supposedly moved on from him
There's seemingly a poster doing the same thing with each candidate. I wouldn't be surprised if it's all the same person and he/she will stick with whichever handle got it "right" and declare that handle an asshat. And people will believe it.
It would explain why it wasn't announced today as he has a playoff game and wouldn't want the distraction. They can't officially sign him and his agent is the one working out the details so he doesn't have to be in NJ to come to an agreement.

Eric, I'm not being a smartass here, but are you hearing "hired" or "agreed upon"? Cuz if it's hired then I'd imagine it's gotta be Wilks. If it's agreed upon then it leaves things open for McDaniels and Shurmur.
My guess is one of the Pats guys or Shurmur, especially since Eric just said 'agreed upon.' So, it's someone who still has games to coach as of this weekend.
