I would be shocked if our head coach is not...

a defensive coach. All you needed to do was year Dave G's first press conference after he was hired. He stressed that championships are won with defense, winning in the trenches and running the ball.

It just does not seem like hiring an offensive coach moves the ship in the direction that Dave G wants it to go.

So, I guess the speculation will continue daily here but in my mind it will end up being of the defensive coaches.

and people should take press conferences with a grain of salt. You can still have a good defense without a defensive guru at HC. Maybe we do hire a defensive HC but I don�t think it�s a guarantee at all.

We are going to find out soon whether DG is making the coaching decisions.

It might depend who he brings in as a DC too.....

Let�s face it, the offense is more broke then the D and that�s got to be first priority. I think the D will come around with the right Coordinator.

Yes, the offense is BROKEN but again if you listen to DG I believe that HE believes it has a lot to do with personnel. OL and RB
