and discredit the insider info posted yesterday, but Ian Rapoport mentioned on the GMFB this morning that McDaniels will likely be taking the Colts job and has let his assistants know to be patient.
Could be rehashed news, but this was said this morning.

He just repeated what was said this morning. Ian discussed both Josh and Matt's destinations. He summarized his comments that this is the most sure thing there is. Perhaps, Ian isn't plugged in as the insider info posted yesterday. But he does have plenty of back-channels to confirm information in other organizations.
Time will tell who is right.
Shurmur or McD would both be good choices for a team about to spend Â
needs to build a strong team of coaches however, and the chances of that happening keep diminishing the longer the Vikes run goes.
I'm torn. Of course I want Philly to lose, but if it means we are starting at square one with one coach only under contract in early February, I'm unhappy. Let's hope that Shurmur has a plan to bring on great talent around him, including and especially on the defensive side.
This comment, coupled with the Asshat comments 7yesterday Â

Not really I’m pretty sure he has them in place already for the most part he knows he’s going somewhere and most likely made arrangements ahead of time

Good choices for offensive coordinators, or maybe QB coaches. But that really isn't a major responsibility for the head coach.

Would seem to indicate the other OC.
