This is interesting. We have Richburg entering his FA year at the same time as a tested and battle proven John Sullivan.
This is intriguing. Sullivan is 32 years old, but performed very well for the Rams this season. (And we already know what we're getting from Richburg.) Jones did okay, but maybe bringing in Sullivan might be a solid idea at this point, rather than taking a center in the draft.
Oh, and he's a local guy: Greenwich High. He might be excited about coming home.
What do you guys think?
This is the kind of signing the Giants need to be looking at. Older vet on a short deal to man the spot while they funnel in young talent through the draft.
They might. But he's also older and they might move on.
2. I have a hard time imagining Richberg continuing his career if he needed to be IRed for a concussion when he was hurt in week 5. Life is too short. If you need to miss 12 weeks for a concussion, no more football.
He was hurt during his final year with the vikes, leading to his release. He’s healthy again and had a nice rebound year in LA.
