Does this mean these were all good coaches stuck working in a really bad offensive scheme, personnel (especially O-line) sucked, the head coach misused personnel and really sucked at calling plays? I vote for all of the above.
has told Sapgs and Quinn they're part of the new staff.
You mean Chris Mara, of course, the dark lord that lives in the bowels of Quest Diagnostic Center, the evil shape-shifter capable of assuming the identity of Dave Gettlemen, whose sole purpose on earth is to crush the souls of Giants fans while ruining the family business? That guy, right?

I think it means they were well aware that they were going Shurmur or McDaniels and they already had staff people picked out so no sense to keep ANY of the offensive staff.
#1) It likely means the giants decided a while back they were going with an Offensive Head coach who was going to change the staff - for whatever reason MattyPatty was probably out of the running well before we or the media knew it to be the case.
#2) There's a chance that some of the other coaches may be retained in some capacity. There has been much less movement on the defensive side of the ball. People need to provide for their families so it's probably a fair guess that some of these coaches will be back.
Just because our offense was a complete failure, doesn't mean that one of our coaches can't coach an individual position.
