It's already well known the Giants will interview him for a second time and I highly doubt the Giants let a 2nd team interview him before they do. They aren't letting him out of the building if he is in fact the guy.
It's a sign the Cardinals have either already settled on a head coach...
Why would they continue to do interview requests?
The whole thing seems odd. Why would Munchak turn down the opportunity? Is it possible he thinks Tomlin will ultimately be fired and he stands to inherit the Steelers HC job?
on the outs...perhaps he knows he has the Pitt OC job in the bag and is comfortable there?
This makes sense. Why leave a great, stable organization if you can move up to OC, (replacing an asshole which can only help him look good), and perhaps get the big chair if Tomlin leaves in the next few years?
The writing was on the wall for this one. Both coach Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger reportedly butted heads with Haley, and the Steelers will let Haley walk now that his contract is up. There's no question he ran some of the most potent offenses in his six years calling play for Pittsburgh, but the Steelers were never able to clear the final hurdles, failing to even win an AFC title with Haley. It's possible OL coach Mike Munchak will earn a promotion to OC after he turned down a second interview with the Cardinals for their head-coach job on Wednesday."

+.
Good point.
He may not want the headaches of HC, and/or got a call about the/a OC already.
Shurmur type HC???
"The Steelers will not bring back OC Todd Haley.

I'd be willing to bet this is the case.

Hope you didn't bet the house because it's already reported the Steelers QB coach is getting promoted to HC
