If you give any value to PFF ratings they list about 40-45 free agent linebackers rated better than our LBs. Hopefully they can get a LB in free agency and focus the first 3 rounds of the draft on the O-Line and a QB.

At what cost vs what money do the Giants have?
Average offensive lineman have destroyed the market in recent years. a legitimately good player hitting the open market in his prime years must cost a fortune.
Andrew Norwell will be a top target, signing him to a long term deal would be smart. I have a feeling Solder will stay in NE. I would expect Fluker back, maybe a 2-3 year deal would be wise. Both Norwell and Fluker are 26 years old. If Price from Ohio St. Is at pick 34 he would be a wide selection.

the guard from the Panthers could be a real possibility.

If Carolina doesn't franchise him.

I may have this wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that all OL are considered the same for tag purposes, so putting the franchise tag on a guard essentially puts an OLT price on him. I don't see that happening. It's not impossible if Carolina thinks they can work out a long-term deal with him, but that tag value makes it risky.

Yes, this is true. But I would expect Norwell to get a similar deal to what Zeitler got last year. So a $15 million or so tag for one year, might not look so exorbitant.
