This according to La CanFora on Twitter. A lot were worried the Giants would strike out, but the Cardinals seem to be in no mans land & in a very tough division.
It will be interesting to see who the Cardinals & Titans settle on.

They'll need to draft one or hope a good one shakes loose otherwise they're looking at Blaine Gabbert and Drew Stanton.
Yikes.
Awesome news! I totally believe you!
Will you shut the fuck up? Troll
Its because of you and very few other that some folks on this site bash asshats, which in turn keeps true posters with some information from posting...
So, please, go away

Who the hell is their QB? That has to be the first thing on any prospective coach's mind.

Really not a bad year to be looking for an experienced QB. With a QB deep draft, there may n9t be much competition for Cousins or Smith. Maybe even Eli.
Dont buy the QB thing and I agree with Joey. However, it DOES seem like other teams with less alluring situations are getting their guys. Titans probably a better option tyan the Cards right now but its close
You have serious issues. It's really sad.
Here is why what you say is a pile of shit:
In order to get Bill the Giants would have to give NE a couple of picks, which isn't happening.

Wilks will interview with #Titans, in addition to a 2nd interview with the #AZCardinals
They have $27M in cap space for next year.
Seeing as he's been wrong on about his last 50 predictions, I'd say the latter would be a pretty safe assumption.
Everything from Reggie Nelson to in-season singings that never happened to Darnold not coming out of USC, it has been clear for a long time that he's just some nobody seeking out attention from anonymous people on the internet.
They need a QB. So do we. Plus... Phoenix is a great place to live... Beautiful stadium and practice facilities...
AZ is a plush job.

They're in the same division with the Rams, Seahawks and even the Niners seem to have a forward direction.

The cupboard isn't bare. They have a top 5, all around RB, in David Johnson... A good crop of young WRs with veteran leadership in Larry Fitzgerald. A solid defense with 2 top CB and the current sack king.

So what. You would turn down an amazing opportunity because of some competition? The Rams were cannon fodder until they woke up this year. The Niners don't scare anyone. Yes, Jimmy G won some games for them... But let's not act like the 49ers are some powerhouse. SEA is trending downward. No OL and no running game. Again... It's a plush job. Just look at the Rams... A good young QB and a competent coaching staff can do wonders.
I'd argue that we have a stronger division than the NFC west.
He's a running April Fools gag.
Can we skip the re-vote and just get rid of this clown after the Shurmur press conference?
Make sure you remind us in a year or two when this MIGHT actually happen.

Watch how fast Shurmur goes to AZ.

That assumes that Shurmur totally flames out
The Cardinals do?
I'd say they're better than the 19th ranked scoring defense (which they were this year) - but Minnesota and Jacksonville have better defenses than Arizona does. I don't see how you could really argue otherwise.
Both teams allowed fewer points, fewer total yards, fewer yards per play, Jacksonville forced a lot more turnovers and had substantially more sacks - Minnesota had the same amount of takeaways. MIN/JAX both had better scoring% numbers against them as well.
I realize Arizona didn't miss the playoffs because of their defense - but I'd take either of the other two defenses over theirs right now and wouldn't agree that they have the best defense in the league.

I think NE would want nothing less than the #2 overall pick. It's not happening.
Other than that, it seems like the same group of coaches interviewed by most of the teams needing coaches. Very strange.

You do realize that you just insinuated a professional coaching candidate would hesitate to take the Cardinals job because they are in a competitive division?
I hope you can see how ridiculous it sounds that these guys would be afraid of a little competition.
This is what makes a BBI great!

On Top of that, to be a coach in the NFL you have to have some degree of EGO. These guys when offered a job like this have to have an EGO that says I can go there and make this team a winner. If they didn't then nobody would take the Cleveland job...
Part clickbait for sure, and there's no way a guy with a first time shot at a HC position is afraid of this job, but I could see a guy with experience not wanting to work for the Bidwells. There's enough smoke concerning how they treat people over the years.
