How is Kanter "trashed". His next contract will be massive and he can't play late thanks to defense. His own coach doesn't play him late for that reason.
One of the worst calls I've seen in a long time. The nba officially has a referee problem. That should raise some serious red flags. You never see a loose ball foul in a situation like that.
Derek Stafford deserves to be suspended. This is one of the worst screw jobs I've seen in awhile. He completely took the game out of the players hands.

could screw them like that. They had so many opportunities to change momentum and missed seemingly every big shot. They left Kanter in too long in the third imo. The refs called them for a lot of ticky tack fouls early. Memphis seemed to hit every big shot and yet with KP at the 5 at the end the Knicks still manage to storm back. Still, it's hard to be a Knicks fan and not be mad at those two calls down the stretch. I almost wish they didn't hold Lee back after the game when he went at the ref.
That’s garbage from those two and where were the Knick coaches? If some ref screws my teams chance to come back after working so hard I would be in his face, Get thrown out. Fuck it, the games over anyway.

-Just under 4 to go, KP steals and breaks to the hoop. Jarell Martin reaches in and then slams him with the body while Brooks grabs his jersey from behind. No call, ruled out of bounds off KP.
-2 minutes to go, Ennis shoves Hardaway to get open. Really obvious, no call, Memphis scores on the possession.
-Finally, the complete horseshit in the final minute. Unbelievably weak call on Porzingis and ridiculous technical on Lee.
Just an disgraceful display by the refs in the last 6 minutes.

If you watch the games with good headphones or probably even a good sound system you can hear the players saying all sorts of crazy shit to the officials. It's definitely worse this year.
Lee is a respected veteran player in your locker room who got jobbed tonight by a ref - the coach needs to have his back in that situation. It's becoming clearer why Hornacek has had his issues with players in Phoenix and New York.

In Latvia, the exact translation of "man-defense" is to have one foot in the paint regardless of where your man is, and wave your arm at him.
The Knicks need a translator to straighten KP out asap. Man-defense means something completely different in the USA.
