It's going to be a great off-season this year!

I mean think about it --- what's better than dissecting all the variables in front of us:

Who stays and who goes? (by the way I think Eric really wants Quinn to stay : )) ???Spags??? ???Players??? the inevitable we waited too long to hire the coach and lost out on all the good assistants

What's gonna come in in FA (the Giants have 25 FAs this year) - there ought to be a batch of new Olinemen and LBs -- what about RB

Who do we pick at #2 (I think there are 8 Blue Chip prospects in the Draft)

The always popular isn't it better to trade down - especially with the potentially huge haul the #2 pick could bring

Who do we draft overall?

Training camp starts early this year so we get to see the players and coaches together sooner than would be usual

The Apple and Flower watch -- do they pay, play or go away

Does OBJ get his contract?

Pughie and Hughie (actually I meant Richburg) - gonesky, staysky, or split gonesky/staysky?

Which poster is going to come up with the best ways to discuss all this stuff?

is we could really use a UFA LT and a clear clean blue chip QB at #2. It might not be the year to really rake in the prime assets, but we are looking at a roster that should be treated like a greenfield of sorts.

You left out the Giants extending Eli

- if we came away with our next franchise QB
- Signed Beckham to an extension
- Release John Jerry
- Add at least one offensive lineman on day 2 (I like Isaiah Wynn)
- Add a good offensive line coach (Grimm or Sparano would be ideal)
- Re-sign Cockrell

find a Tackle, Guard and LB in free agency. Also draft another Guard, LB and RB in first few rounds.

Those would be steps in the right direction...

Eric stays. After that Slade may be banned, and RockyT may be the first to receive his hundredth BBI time-out (which I hear gets him a set of Ronco steak knives). The rest we will have to wait and see.

How you going to know if we came away with our next franchise QB?? In a perfect world anyone we draft would take at least a year or 2 to develop before they start.

I think there will be certain part that are bittersweet, such as the official end of the Eli era should he be released (which wouldn't be an insane idea).
