They do go out of their way to be jerks to you. Did anyone go to the game this year at MetLife. What a horribly behaved fanbase. They were so obnoxious on purpose at MetLife.
I've been to Philly and their reputation is true. They're are horrible fans.
Imagine you have to lock, board and chain up your business so these hooligans don't tear up your business celebrating a football game.
I remember when the Phillies won the world series in 2008
The bashing of Philly fans grows tiresome. At least they have a chance to do some damage. The most Giant fans can do is throw a couple of old tires around the Meadowlands. Nothing like a good victory riot!
Every team has lowlife scumbags as fans. The Giants are no exception to that rule.

If NYC real estate was as blighted as Philly, the Giants could have their stadium in the city as well. Spare us the righteousness. The Yankees never required NYPD to issue warnings to local business owners, did they?

Thats because Yankee fans won't venture anywhere farther than Stan's when at the stadium.

So somehow having an urban stadium is more desirable and excuses any boorish behavior because they are still alive? Jesus.
but this seems to be an issue for almost any city but NYC. Even teams playing in the city, Yanks, Rangers and going way way back the Knicks & Mets, never followed a championship with riots. The outlier seems to be NY and not Philadelphia.
downhill real fast in filthadelphia when they lose. It'll get ugly. My over/under is four police cruisers set afire.
Might be a good idea for them to get the most beat up, unreliable vehicles in the pool, and place them strategically in areas that would get the most activity. Win-win!
Class class class.

I pray they lose

I was actually there when the Phillies won in 08. There were no riots or anything. This is dumb.

But I am quite sure that the NYPD makes similar plans for Yankees red Sox playoffs, or any other game of high crowds and importance.

And then sports teams win and it burns again....
Fuck Philly though, I can't wait until they are out.
I have seen things like ALCS games at yankeee stadium, and when you exit, it is no joke with the amount of cops and prepardness.
Which team would Bill Belichick be coaching though? :-)
