I might be totally off, but I got a hunch Jacksonville is somehow going to beat the Pats. I expect them to get after TB much like our Giants did when we beat them. Jaguars 24, Pats 20 in a shocker.
Vikings 27, Eagles 17. Buh bye Philly. And good riddance.
Your predictions?
I'm going there again.
Vikes 19, Eagles 7.
Pats 20, Jags 10.
Jaguars 20 Patriots 20 - OT Patriots get the ball first and the Jaguars pick off Brady to give the game winning FG to Lambo. Final Jags 23 Patriots 20
24-13
Vikes play Eagles tight, but Keenum throws late pick
20-17
17-3 Pats
Eagles are the best team ever. They will win easily 42-0.
(See what I did there?)
Jags 17
As for the nfc, my heart says Minnesota, but I’m getting a nauseating feeling the Eagles win by 6. In the end though, this game’s winner will be otherwise known as the team who earned the right to lose to the Pats in 2 weeks.
Jax 13
Vikings 21
Eagles 23
Pats 31 - Jags 27
Vikes 26 - Filthadelphia 21
Agreed........they are struggling offensively. I huge reason is the Eagles had been one of the best 3rd down conversion teams in the league, and a lot of that was due to Wentz and his ability to create.
Foles doesn't nearly have that ability.
I also look for the Vikes to take away this RPO (run/pass option) by playing a lot of tight coverage and forcing Foles to beat it.
I think the Pats can beat the Jags without Brady. It becomes more of a tossup, but if Bortles plays like he did against the Bills the Pats can easily force some turnovers and get a win.
Jax wins 24 - 17
The Vikings will do the same to the Eagles, but the Eagles are home on grass and I have more confidence in Jake Elliott over Kai Forbath.
Minnesota's misery continues.
Eagles 20
Vikings 9
I can't predict a score on either team. I just want Minn to win somehow, someway.
Jags D keeps it close (at least 1 D/ST TD), but Brady pulls it out in the end: 24-23 Pats.
On the flip side I think the Vikings offense has actually been better this year than Atlanta. Nonetheless, I think it's a low scoring affair. I'll say 14-3 Vikings. However, wouldn't be surprised if the eagles pull this one out and Keenum realizes he's Keenum and implodes on the road.
Either way, I think Brady walks away with number 6. Could you imagine bellichek with two weeks to prepare for Foles or Keenum.
Pats will win. I think the Jags will keep it low scoring and close. A late TD or FG could win it for either team. Should be a nail biter.
Pats 24 + at least 6 from the officials = 30
Jags 17 - love to see an upset but...you know the rest
Sick of the Pats but cannot pick against them in this spot.
Pats 27
Jags 17
Just have a feeling about these Vikings
Vikes 20
Eagles 17
And in 2 weeks Brady hoists number 6.
Jags 17-16
Same here. Hoping for a Vikes vs Jags super bowl with Vikes winning it all.
The Pat's offense is too good to score less than 20 points late in the playoffs? Where have I heard that before?
Pats 20 Jax 8
Which defense is better? I have to say it’s a push between the Vikes and the Philthy Green Birds. I’m no expert but these two teams seem remarkably similar in how they match up in personnel and coaching. Both HCs are offensive play callers, good if somewhat unspectacular ground games, backup QBs which are actually pretty solid. Case Keenum is probably better than Foles but it’s not really a complete mismatch especially if they’re both playing well. Home field advantage might be the difference in this one. More with heart than my head I’m going to say Minny pulls out a sqeeker at the end.
Minny-ha-ha 16 City of Brotherly Brawls 13
Pats over Jax 31-21.
I would root for the roof to collapse.

is Pats vs. Eagles I might not watch it. I wouldn’t be able to root for either team.
I would root for the roof to collapse.
Lol didn’t that happen in Minn once before.

Yes. Snow caved in the old Metrodome.

Eagles (ugh) win 24-10.
I don't trust Case Keenum or that offense outdoors on the road in "chilly" weather. I also think the Eagles have enough weapons on offense to take pressure off of Foles.
And Minn over Eagles 28-13...
