But then why bother to call it a reboot? Call it something else (you don't have to have 5 kids) and call it a day. I don't get a move like this. Most of the people who watched the show are now in their 30s-early 50s. Without anything from the actual show, this is really just another show, throwing in the political backdrop, and banking on the title drawing people. For me, I'm not watching it because I don't want all the political backdrop.

I thought I read about a Goonies reboot about a year ago, but then haven't heard or seen anything since.
