If Burke takes Frank's minutes instead of Jack's, like he did tonight, I will be frustrated. I was happily surprised with the Kanter and Beasley line-up. Maybe they can actually win two in a row for the first time in a while...
At least Thomas was nowhere to be seen in the fourth quarter

If Frank keeps playing timid and scared I don't want him on the court
seems like a guards only coach. Doesn't care that Thomas ends up with the ball too often, nor does he care that the Bulls have figured out to max Markkanen but he can't figure out KP. Need a new coach and better rotations, even if they don;t make a trade.
Porzingas: has taken the next step and become a top 30 player. Yes, he has faded a bit and needs to rebound better and learn how to pass the ball and get stronger. But he is only 22 and still developing.
THJR: he matters because of the contract they gave him. Has played better than 99% of Knicks fans expected. Big improvement especially in regard to his passing. Looking like egit 20 ppg guard.
Frank: Started the year well. Defense is top notch. Still a big question mark with the ball in his hands. Sometimes he makes plays that make you say, "This kid's got it." Other times, he looks like he does not belong in the NBA offensively. Next year will be huge for him.
These three are the future. The rest of the guys won't be here when the Knicks are ready to compete.
He's having a pretty good game. Whoop de doo. Totally worth the $71 million.
Greg putting on a clinic in negativity today...
I wouldn't even entertain Greg. He will go out of his way and seemingly root against the BIG 2 (Burke and THJ) just so he can say he was right. Plus he hates everything, including puppies.

Part of him being timid is probably the fact that when he makes a mistake like the charge tonight he gets pulled
to justify having him on the court for long minutes, key minutes...or is/will his defense be good enough to justify his not being an offensive threat? So far, I don't see lots of minutes where he is a shut-down defender.

He was pulled because he was playing timid and scared...
Look at Beasley, he has no idea if he is going to play 5 minutes or 25 minutes but every minute he is out there he plays hard...
You can't worry about making mistakes, if you make a mistake and get pulled so be it, he got another oppurtunity not he 2md half and played the exact same way...
To me, sitting Frank because of his offense would be like sitting KP every time he doesn't go after a rebound that is right next to him, or every time he takes a contested mid-ranged shot, or when he doesn't rotate out onto a three point shooter. I believe that during a rebuild the Knicks should let their young guys play through their warts. Now, if sitting Frank for Burke was a one time thing, or if they have some plans in practice to improve his offense while he sits out games, I can get behind that. Still though, if it were me, I'd make sure at least KP and Frank play regardless.
they're not. Its a delicate balancing act to develop young players while trying to win every game. I'm not sure Hornacek is up to the task. And if he ruins FN's confidence, then he's done the organization a disservice. That being said at 19, Frankie needs to be spotted. His playing time will be uneven. His game the other day (10-10-7) is a good indicator of what he's capable of. Anyone who thinks there will be any consistency from him at this point is dreaming.
Burke came in the game and promptly just dribbled right out of bounds. Epitome of Michigan Man!
He still isn't anything special and a massive waste of money

Alright Mr. Negative Nancy.
And there's Trey Burke with the triplet.
And Kanter doesn't look that bad in these final minutes, couple of offensive rebounds
He's having a pretty good game. Whoop de doo. Totally worth the $71 million.

You really going to say hardaway has not been clutch this year?
You can admit you were wrong, 18 4 and 3, go look at other shooting guard contracts...
Thankfully, they missed all 19 of their open opportunities on that possession.
Also added 5 rebounds and 3 assists

Some interesting lines in the box score, THJr and Kanter in particular.
