to pull off the upset, and what another nice story that would be for Tom Coughlin as well.
Atl Journal Constitution had a good article about him in paper yesterday. Describing some of his times with old Jax team, how it went very well but then fell back down. It didn't asbolve Coughlin from blame either. Then how he won his rings for the Giants before hitting hard times again.
Then spoke about how he was instrumental in bringing a few key free agents for the Def in Campbell, Church and Bouye. Plus then adding Fournette and Robinson for the Offense in draft.
And then how he is a giant killer of the Patriots.
I will be rooting for him to get another ring this year...
Yup. It does bother me, but I never liked TCs style. Funny thing is, I liked playing for coaches that stressed discipline, but I could never get beyond TCs hard ass, militaristic style. Turning the game into life and death. I always felt he lacked perspective. Great man, no doubt. However, I was never a fan.
Even during the 2008 and 2012 Superbowl? If so you must not be a Giants fan.
My entire life gidie. I am a fan of the team, not necessarily all of the people. I was very proud of TC and what those teams accomplished... and still am. I was ecstatic. However, I am not a blind homer and suffice it to say all of us fans have had issues with a coach or two over the years. Just a quirk for me.
He seemed to like teaching and he wanted players to be mentally tough and fundamentally sound. Check out the video of TC going around and talking to different players during a practice. Would not call it militaristic.
But I think the Pats will. I dont think JAXs defense really shut down many dynamic offenses this year, but if they can get some turnovers like they do and Bortles plays well they certainly have a chance.
Depends on which Bortles shows up today.
Really? wow

Being a Giant fan is what counts anyway...
