The #Vikings will have to replace OC Pat Shurmur when he takes over the #Giants. Two key names they'll consider: Former #Broncos OC Mike McCoy & former #Giants coach Ben McAdoo. Both are in the mix for other jobs, too.
He has proven to NOT be the coordinator that McDaniels and Shurmur apparently are.
However, if he is still under contract with the Giants, other teams may be staying away, as he would have to be hired for a title higher than DC and it would require asking the Giants permission to interview.
How many adjustments can you make when your starting WR's are Tavarres King and Roger Lewis and protection is inconsistent

Not good at adjustments either. Good luck to whoever hires him. Think you need a strong offensive HC to keep him in line

Yawn. What was the excuse before the injuries
He’s coordinated 2 of the worst defenses in Giants history. Why should people be knocking the door down for him?
after this year's shit show he'd have to start from the beginning for me.

Spags is staying on as the D coordinator. He hasn’t had an interview for anything, yet somehow Macadoo has. I’d prefer to start over on defense but it sure seems like Spags.
Why is this necessarily a sign he is staying? Maybe it's an indication of what the rest of the league thinks about him right now. He got zero interviews for other HC jobs, which is saying something, considering everyone and their mother got interviews.

But the Giants have already given their permission to all their coaches to interview for other positions.
But that offense had Coughlin influences. More vertical routes and stayed with the run game. Once Coughlin was out, Macadoo’s offensive game plan eliminated those 2 features and was horrendous.

Besides gameplanning and playcalling, his in game management was terrible. That ranges from clock management, challenges, personnel, etc.

you honestly think he would do that after how this season turned out?, he has to show the league a change in approach.
As a HC we all know this took a turn for the worst...but I feel like in a good situation he will eventually be a decent coach.
Guy didnt have any OC experience when he came here...For everyone that wanted McDaniels this year, its not farfetched to say McAdoo cant bounce back.

Lots of folks seem to conveniently forget how McAdoo helped turn the Giants offense around after an abysmal 2013 season. He put together two of Eli's best seasons and the team finished top 10 in offense both seasons. This was all despite a bad offensive line.
Sucks that he was in over his head as a head coach, but he has a good record as an offensive coordinator.

The Giants offense was pretty good with him at OC. Two 30(+) TD seasons for Eli. Near 25 ppg.

Agree... Coughlin’s influence made a big difference.
If this were any other team we'd quickly say "he just relied on the offensive-minded head coach to actually devise the offense, when left on his own he was clueless and lost."
McAdoo hasn't proven himself as an OC.
Beckham was injured for the first quarter of the season, during which time the Giants hung 30 on the Texans and 45 on the Redskins.
Nobody is trying to say McAdoo was the greatest, but his offense in 2014 and 2015 performed well.

Cant see this. My guess it’s his agent pushing anything w his name
Attached He was basically the OC for 4 years. His two seasons where he really had full control of the offense were the last two. He was a disaster. Mr 11 3 WRs should be over joyed w any NFL job. OC seems a pipe dream

Before any injuries to the WRs and the additions of both Ellison and Smith in 2017 as a FB he was still running 3 WRs over 90% or the time. Feel free to differ but he had about 18 games to adjust and diversify. I wouldnt hire him at all due to that and his really arrogant behavior last season. Certainly not as an OC. He also had only one year as Rodgers QB coach. Not sure but I can’t inagine much of he anything to impart to Rodgers that would lead me to believe he’s some great offensive mind.
