rather than the tap dance and the wishy washy bullshit answers that we used to get from Reese.
In fact, I think back to the various press conferences from Reese and I NEVER got a sense for whether he had any kind of plan. How he was strategically going to build a team. Where he wanted the strength of the team to be focused, etc
Nothing..

+1.
I've often said, especially the late 7+ offseason, that His strategy is not the same as the HC, especially TCs last 2 years where JM & TC himself said he wanted to return to Giants football. Then 4 years and 1 hog (EF?)Mollie later we finally have a GM that is All In on that.
After the '08 draft its apparent JRs strategy was reaches, projects, and the his recent 3-4 drafts, weapons.
I think Gettelemen will lead this team to great success.
I think his personality rubbed people the wrong way at Carolina just because of the culture down there in South Carolina. Jerry is homegrown and it’s all about southern hospitality and being indirect with your criticizims; directness is seen as being rude.
Hard time waiting for the draft and free agency!

Well we never really knew WHAT Reese's strategy was. He never shared one. All we could do was guess based upon reflecting upon his off season moves. I mean look at this past off season. Any idea what his plan was? He drafted a TE first, left the OL alone, signed an older WR, he did not improve the RB position knowing Perkins was not the answer, etc
Was the plan to pass our way to a championship while Eli was running for his life without a running game?
How about a long term plan vs a plan for the upcoming season? Dave G in his very first press conference basically told us what his plan is. Solid defense, win in the trenches and run the ball. Now, his moves (not all of them) need to support that.
