when they cannot win if Michael Beasley has an off night. Take him off of the floor due to foul trouble and the Knicks cannot do anything defensively against teams with any kind of athleticism.
He doesn't have any players on the roster without serious warts. Hopefully they'll get there, but imo they haven't yet.
It was clear that he didn't want to put Hernangomez and Kanter on the floor together, but Beasly had 4 fouls in 8 minutes and KP had played almost the whole game prior to that point. Hornacek actually tried Thomas at the 4 first but the Knicks got annihilated on the boards so he put in Hernangomez
I personally feel that the hate for Thomas and Baker on this board is a bit hyperbolic. To me they aren't that much worse than the rest of the team, if at all.
I do sometimes question the offensive system and the player development aspects of the Knicks coaching staff, but again I feel like it's too early to make a proper conclusion. When it comes to Hornacek I feel like it should be the same argument people make about Eli, how can he be properly evaluated if he doesn't have any consistent talent to work with? I know it's just one example out of many and Hornacek in all likelihood won't ever be considered great, but the Browns/Ravens did fire Belichick before truly giving him a chance, just saying.
That’s why it’s projected starters. These get made few hours earlier than game start.
Hah no worries man.
This WHG-Kanter front court is horrible

Sorry. Didn’t know. Wasn’t being rude. Just correcting

It's like they're not even trying to give WHG good looks. Rather have Beasley in there with him.
His rotations are awful. He’s playing 11 guys
And playing the wrong guys. I.E. Thomas and Baker

It's like he's lost any sense of his players. WHG and Kanter together is ridiculous.
