Pats score to make it a 14-10 game jags get the ball back with 52 seconds and two time outs and take a knee. I’m sorry that is pussy football. there was plenty of time for them to get in FG range or even score things could of been a lot different in the 4th quarter, remember back in 07 in the playoffs after Dallas scored to make it 14-7 coughlin was aggressive with under a minute left and the Giants went right down the field and scored to tie the game , this is not the time to be conservative very surprised a coughlin team did that, he gets credit for everything else so he should be criticized for that lol.
when are coaches going to stop that shit?
3 & 18. 920 to go. That was their season. Walsh should have sent Colvin on a pressure to make Brady release early. That was a huge conversion . They caught a couple of bad breaks on calls. They had 9 penalties . The Patriots had 1. But the loss is completely on the defense. Bortles could not have played better. On the fourth-down pass, while moving toward the line of scrimmage , he delivered a pretty good ball that was just a little short .No offense to Eli, but getting that rush, he would have been on his ass long before he had a chance to throw it.
That’s Coughlin’s conundrum: what does he do about Bortles? They didn’t have one offensive turnover in the playoffs . They played good enough to win on offense . They expected a lot from their D-probably too much.
Ramsey was complaining about the amount of three-deep that was called. He said Amodela was quiet against man. 3& 18-whatever gets said and written about the game, that’s the play that did them in . Brady is incredible . Congrats to the all-time best .

Exactly...I have never understood the logic of playing not to lose when with a quarter to play.
They will do better next time, if there is a next time.
They never went anywhere after that.
The problem is they didn't trust Bortles after he was almost picked. He really is not a good QB way to inaccurate

Pats had just scored......Jags had outplayed them in the first half.....to force Bortles to fight the clock and the Pat defense, the HC had to worry about a turnover and giving the ball back to the Pats before the half, which would have wiped out everything the Jags had accomplished in the first half.........and the Jags would get the ball to start the second half....With a qb like Bortles, I thought it was the right move....
That was the lesson the giants learned against the pats in the regular season in 2007. Served them well later.
The idea that a Coughlin-led would never take a knee is correct; he would call a draw instead.
Bortles was not the problem yesterday. In fact he was the bright spot. It was the defense allowing another TD just before half and playing soft on that 3rd and 18.
Well that and a couple of questionable penalties in the Pats favor.
I am sure his job description is taking over for the OC whenever he wants...

That's just ridiculous. Everyone knows that Tommy has his own headset that overrides all other headsets. Tommy just has to whisper in Blake's ear.
Officials gave the Pats several gifts in this game, but the Jags play calling in the second half, lack of creativity on defense, and Brady, Cooks, and Amendola making plays when they needed to. Jacksonville should have been man to man on Cooks and Amendola with Bouye and Ramsey. Make those receivers have to make plays on 2 of the top 5 corners in the league. Instead they rush 4, no stunts, no disguised coverages, back in a zone defense, and when you give that to Tom Brady, he will pick you apart. That catch on the sideline by Dorsett can't be understated either. Pats made the plays in the second half, Jags didn't, but it is frustrating that once again, a game in Foxboro became about officiating.
BB keeps his guys focused over 60 minutes as usual...
