If you really believe that he is the guy then it doesn't matter in 5 years whether you picked a guy 2nd, 5th or 10th, so act with conviction and grab him with 2 and see how it plays out.
If you believe he is your guy you take him when you can get him. I think he will be a tremendous NFL quarterback. Regardless of what some others may think.
(a) the best QB in this draft or (b) the only QB in this draft worth considering. Even if he meets one of those criteria it does not mean he has the value to pick at 2. That is an act of desperation. Hopefully the Giants will not feel desperate. If you trade down to get him you have to have other targets for that pick. Its a gamble but the whole draft is a gamble. He who gambles best reaps the most rewards. Playing it safe at 2 leaves you with one player for all that draft capitol who can get injured or just go bust. Anyone remember Ryan Leaf?
