So I'm driving home today, and I'm flipping around the dial and settle in on listening to Kay and LaGreca. Basically they are running a poll asking Giants fans who they prefer to win the Super Bowl. About 68% of the polled individuals said Pats.
Aside from that, on the likes of social media, such as facebook, I saw a few Giants fans saying they want the Eagles to win because of associations with the team or they have friends who are Eagles fans (I live at the shore, ableit the very northern end of Ocean County, so there are SOME Eagles fans around here that I'm friends with)
But, with that said, how in the hell can ANY Giants fan with no association with the Eagles cheer for the Eagles, and want them to win?
IMO, here are some valid reasons to want them to win IF you are a Giants fan:
1) You have $$ on them
2) You personally know an Eagle or a coach
3) You're married to an Eagles fan
...That's all I can come up with. The other excuses are ridiculous, like people saying they hate little Bill, the cheating stuff, or they hate Brady.
I for one, and I've said it here before, am forever indebted to Bill Belichik as he was a huge part of 2 super bowls, both in my youth, and I still to this day, can never say a bad word about the man. Brady? He's the GOAT, and we got him twice :)
The bottom line is IF this team wins, IMAGINE THE HELL WE WILL GO THROUGH FOR YEARS TO COME!!! Eagles fans are the most obnoxious, aggressive, and all-knowing fans on this earth, and if they win, god help us.
