You actually need to read through the article,

to grasp the breadth of the suckiness.

Thanks for sharing this...
Crazy how often we are the WORST at so many things
FirstBallotEli : 1/23/2018 4:30 am : link
Worst special teams in the league, at least 3 times

Worst oline in the league, at least 4 to 5 times

Worst run game in the league, at least 2 times

Led the league in drops, 100% always

Worst defense at least 2 or 3 times, 1 of which on a historical level

All over the course of less than 15 years

Makes you appreciate how Eli has put together a HOF career with 10x less than ANY other QB in the HOF or any of his peers like Brady, Ben, Rivers, Romo, Ryan etc. not to take anything away from them

Eli has spent years fighting off his own teams ineptitude on literally every level, in the last 15 years he's all that separates us from the browns

You are correct sir.
Actually..

no. He's not correct:

Not only haven't we led the league in drops in the past ten years, we are often in the bottom of the league in that category. In 2015, we were 24th in drops by number and 27th by percentage.

Beckham was 31st in number of drops and 82nd in % of drops for players with at least 10 targets.
I mean this seriously

Did we really need to see these rankings to know that our special teams were the worst?

People like validation.
More validation?

Skimming that list

It’s quite damning that the biggest spread beteeen teams in sequence occurs between #31 and #32. We weren’t even close to being the next to last worst unit in the league.
That's really pathetic....

How does Wing go from top 10 punter to bottom 10? He was pretty good his first year. Being a left-footed punter makes him valuable, but will he get another opportunity this year? Rosas was terrible at times. He needs to be competition for a Vet again this year. We need to bring in someone that is much more reliable.

in the middle and lower classes of the roster. When you consistently miss on picks 3-7, have blind spots evaluating LBs, and are shredded by injuries, you're rolling out one corpse after another on specials.

Did Quinn get let go? I haven't heard an announcement about it. I know we have a new ST coach from Carolina, but did Quinn get promoted in order for it to happen?
