Wojo and Shellbourne are both reporting that the Lakers are shifting their focus from the 2018 Free Agent class to the 2019 free agent class.
They feel Lebron will not come without another max player and they are having trouble unloading a player to create both max spots.
Also, they have won 10-14 with the nucleus of Ingram, Hart, Kuzma, Randle and Clarkson. Lonzo Ball has not even played.
The Lakers make me sick, they hit a home run in this year's draft and will have a very good shot at adding a Kawi or Klay in 2019.

enough to build a package to flip for Anthony Davis, I'm all ears.
PREACH!
You keep saying it is Dolan fault, then how come the rangers have been so good?
So the year the knicks won 54 games Dolan was not a problem?
How would you know if he is there or not?
And he stays out of hockey because he has Sather running it, he tried to do the same with Phil but Phil fucked it up....
By all accounts he doesn't mess with the knicks anymore he does nothing, he wasn't even at the press conference to introduce perry...
I am not here to defend Dolan but I think it is hilarious that it is all Dolan fault the knicks suck but the rangers nope he has nothing to do with that...
Also when is the last time the knicks have traded a first

Davis, Lonzo, LeBron. Let's do it.
O'Quinn is worthless and it will be proven when he is not traded. Guys like him are a dime a dozen in the NBA and not playing because of small ball.
I am not even being optimistic, this team is bad but it is not dysfunctional..
There is a difference between bad and dysfunction...
There are pieces on this team to be excited about, there is a future here, that is not dysfunction...
If you think about it, look at the Sixers, Hinkie got fired and that team has the brightest future in the NBA because of his patience. If he had drafted KP instead of Okafor, they would be a title contender this season, but Phil would done the same, he lucked into KP.
How does signing hardaway prove dysfunction? Before this 3 game stretch everyone was saying how it was a bargain, before he got hurt people started liking the deal...
Perry has made a move, the melo deal looks pretty good...
There was future pieces when Phil was in charge? Really who?
And the only player not playing right now is Willy, everyone else who is part of the future is getting good minutes...
Umm Walsh's plan from the start was quick fix, his entire plan was built around free agencg..
He gave up pick after pick to clear salary, he had to sign amare or he was going to look like an idiot
Enzo you hate everything, Knicks could trade for LeBron in his prime and you would complain the team gave up to much...
Holy shit I am done with this it is going around in circles...
Have I ever once said Phil was not dysfunctional or the knicks have never been dysfunctional? No
I am saying this year this team is not dysfunctional...
But go on I am done with this one agree to disagree
There was future pieces when Phil was in charge? Really who?
KP and Willy
Frank and kp obviously...
Burke can be a back up point signed for next year already...
Mcdermott can be a bench piece most likely will not be very expensive...
Hardaway is obviously part of the future only 25...
1st round pick and a good 2nd round pick coming up..
Even Beasley will probably still be cheap as a bench scorer...

about the Knicks with Mills in charge. I don't care if Perry is the second coming of Red Auerbach. Mills simply is not qualified.

yeah - there's been so much to love about this team the last 18 years or so. Yes we have some interesting young pieces but the cap is a cluttered mess, the coach sucks, and the guy running the whole operation gave $10 million guaranteed to Ron Baker.
It's hysterical how you have an excuse ready for every dumb thing this team does. Maybe you should look around the league at how other teams conduct business. There's a whole league out there full of smart people doing smart things.
It was reported by shams who is just as good

Who is making excuses? When have I ever said the Ron baker deal was a good deal?
You choose to be a negative fan that is fine, that is your prerogative, I am choosing to view it as a clean slate and new leadership..
See what happens

That video is about Lebron getting mad at his mates' effort on defense. In that case he will enjoy playing with Lonzo.
At least Thomas's deal is non guaranteed in the final year

so you agree with my take on things? WTF? Are you just bored and looking to kill time by taking all sides of every issue being discussed?
sentimental is one word for it. Incompetent and stupid also come to mind.
*have
1) Noah, Baker, Thomas contracts. No other NBA team was handing out those contractsfor those lengths and that player friendly. I'll give the Knicks a pass on the Hardaway contract because he can at least play.
2) Up until this year they ran an offense that was a complete joke around the league. They have completely abandoned that offense.
3) Porzingis has had 3 head coaches in 3 years. They also fired the assistant he was closest too and worked the most with. Not to mention trying to trade him and publicly criticizing him.
4) I'll skip the Phil Jackson bashing but Steve Mills would not have this job with any other NBA team in the league. He wouldn't even get interviews.
5) They went with a self proclaimed youth movement but refuse to play their 2nd year center who was on the all rookie team last year. He gets no meaningful time at all.
I do appreciate the positvty at times but these points are hard to refute.
