Incredible game last night and great game winner by Lebron. Cavs fans anger should be directed at one guy- Dan Gilbert. He�s wasting a year of his Prime with this shit roster and possibly forcing him to leave. Either way it was a very entertaining game.

It seems there are many more sellers than buyers and the Knicks really don't have much to offer other than their first round picks (should be totally off-limits).

While Lee is a competent player, he is overpaid. And with Willie gone, and KP down, I'd assume O'Quinn is here for the balance of the year.

Somehow, the front office has to dictate to the Coach that developing young players is the number one goal (aka, lose as much as possible).

They clearly also wanted to free up the roster spot. It seems to me that we have to consider the possibility that the organization has moved Kornet ahead of Willy, mainly because Kornet is a modern big man, while Willy is more of an old school big. Time will tell if the Knicks were right about that.

Going to be hard to trade Lee today as Avery Bradley and Rodney Hood are more coveted.

Isiah is the problem with that team. They traded a top 10 player for a guy whos broken down and can't guard anyone in the NBA. He gets attacked every possession. And he's causing locker room problems. That trade is an all time steal for the Celtics.

Thats a great idea and would definitely do it if I'm both teams. However Gilbert doesn't have the balls to admit his mistake that quickly. But Lee could really help that team.

Two other picks were traded for cash and a future second-round pick.

NYK could just cut IT. He is not an important piece of this deal for NYK.

gets most of the young stud coach love (deservedly) but Quin Snyder is an excellent coach. I wish the Knicks could find someone like him.

Isn�t horrible, but he is not moving the needle for any of these playoff teams. Additionally no one wants to give up 2019 cap space. I have a feeling all of the big guys with opt outs this year will opt in. Making 2019 arguably the greatest free agent class ever. Sucks to be a knicks fan as usual, hopefully we get lucky and get a top 5 pick this year and then next year is all but gaursnteed a top 5 pick. This is the reason to hold on to Noah. After next year he will be an expiring deal. I have no idea how good the 2019 draftclass is but that pick could be our ticket for a sign and trade to bring in a second max deal. If you can sign Irving oh can then package lottery pick and Noah for a stud. Those 2 players plus zinger and this years pick plus year 3 or frank. Now we are taking about something that could be good.

People weren't gonna give us a #1 for Willy regardless of how much they played hi,. Not happening. And it seems clear the the Knicks have soured on the guy. Perhaps they were wrong to do so, but only time will tell if they made a mistake.

I agree that Isiah is one of the problems, but lets not act like its all on him. They had major problems when Isiah wasn't even back yet. He's just a bad fit with lebron. Also, I'll give him some time to get back. He doesn't look like he's in great shape and he isn't moving well at all. Def not ready to call it an all time steal, especially when they could have gotten the first pick in the draft.

The Knicks should not trade for him, because Hornacek would use him and Beasley and they would win a few games 140-135.

The Knicks need to win no more than 2-4 games for the rest of the season to get into the top 5 of this draft. It is the only silver lining.

two's are solid throw-ins but they are easy to obtain and the "hit rate" is a lot lower than people think. A recent report followed the outcomes of 2nd rounders from 2001-2015 and found picks 30-35 (first 5 picks of the second round) produced 42 "useful or better" players over 15 drafts (447 total picks) and that's if you are picking with very high 2's. Picks 41-45 for example 23/447. That's not to say they have zero value but people are really overrating them.

The Lakers have been trying trade Randle- and they can't get a #1 for him. Randle is probably better that 2/3 of the Knicks roster.

If the Lakers can't get a #1 for Randle, the Knicks aren't getting anything more than second rounders for ANYONE on their roster.

Totally different scenarios. Randle is about to get paid, Willy is dirt cheap, not analogous + the Lakers are inspired to move Randle, the Knicks were under no such pressure. Willy's value was going to go DOWN?

If they soured on him,they did so after they acquired Kanter. Willy was one of the poster boys in the off season for the future. I never said they'd get a #1 but by Hornacek not playing him,any value he had before the season (and as someone named to the rookie team, he had value) was non-existent.As Dan posted above,#2's are easy to get,easy to buy so Perry drooling over the fact he was able to get #2's in 2020,2021(to replace the 2 they traded for Willy) was asinine. Tonight,they're down to KOQ at center(if he isn't traded) & a 23 year old w/potential might have been nice to plat tonight & going forward!

He's actually very important to that team, probably more than Isiah actually. Lebron also likes him a lot.

friend was an English tutor while living in Spain, one of his co-workers was Willy's tutor and later actual friend. All off-season he was raving about how hard Willy was working (and the pictures showed a clear change to his body). I don't know any inside information beyond knowing the kid did work his ass off.

The relationship between the player & management/coaching staff goes a long way in how a player responds. Hornacek,despite the calm demeanor he presents publicly,has had run ins w/players in the past. Not giving Willy a pass but he didn't strike me as a kid who would have a "sense of entitlement".There's certainly more to this story than has been reported & now that Willy's gone, this G-league refusal,sense of entitlement story surfaces! It is a shame the way he souled himself out, he used to be a good writer and source of Knicks info. Saying stuff like that about Willy H is just not needed and a plant.

He would have PR people standing behind the camera and if a question was asked or if a player was saying something he didn't want them to say, they'd step in and end the interview. He's a little like Dan Snyder in that everyone he pays, has to say what he wants them to say. This isn't new.
