#Clippers and #Cavs spent last night engaged in serious trade talks revolving DeAndre Jordan, per league source. Should a deal get done however, Clips are insisting it include the #Nets pick (which Dan Gilbert doesn't want to surrender). I'm told only the Cavs pick is on table.
Someone is going to get a steal with IT this summer. He is a good player who is playing on injured legs. He should be much closer to himself next year and between the injury and how he has played nobody is going to offer him big money.
They'll really need to hit a home run on that Brooklyn pick if they keep love around, otherwise they'll be toiling in the teens and be behind on a full rebuild.
They'll basically be the Knicks.
This is really the first time the Knicks have even somewhat attempted a true rebuild.
lol, its sad isnt it. Thats what happens when you rarely draft at the top of the draft. We all say it all the time, the worst place to be is mediocre. We consistently draft in the 8-13 range. The one time we draft early, we get our unicorn, but we need 2 more of those in the next 2 years.

Funny watching these teams build and rebuild over and over again while the Knicks are still trying to get it right ONCE.

Not really true. They've been trying to rebuild for 15 years, just trying the quick fix route. The only other time they tried to rebuild over a few years was the Walsh years. For years we focused on removing salaries so that we could make a run for Lebron. If only Walsh wasn't in that damn wheel chair.

If they did it after the 2000 team was done, maybe we'd have a title.
They'll probably be in a position to pick top 10 next year as well, probably top 5. If they can add say Bagley and Reddish, we're there.

Hence the phrase a "true rebuild".
They've tried to quick rebuild with vets and going after big fish in free agency, but never a true rip it down to the foundation rebuild.

All of the CLE execs are on their knees for Lebron.

Well, sure, but the players they are getting are also younger and decent hedges if he leaves.
This is fun
The Cavs getting all these guys increases the likely hood of a Lee deal I would think.
+1
He's the one guy that isn't them taking on big salary obligations.

The quiet Knicks have been getting a lot of interest in sharpshooting forward Doug McDermott.

Yeah, that is crazy.
That said, I'm curious to see if/where Evans & Jordan land.
Myself now talking to the myself of two hours ago: You're an idiot.
