Runs counter to what all of the asshat reporters were saying. Sorry if German, searched and did not see this information posted. CBS Sports story - ( New Window )
about any of the other possible hires, I am just hoping we made the right choice.
Now to get to fixing this roster. Combine coming up then FA.
One thing about the roster, I am now in the belief that getting Pugh resigned is something we should look at. Maybe he sees things differently too with a new HC and Gettleman as the GM.
Gary Myers is the only tool that kept pushing that story Â
Course the Giants got the only coach they wanted and the best of the bunch that was out there. I don't believe these types of articles for a second. Besides at this point what is the difference other then the organization leaking information to give the view that they were in total control the entire hiring process.
crap together. Bout time. I'm confident fresh eyes will objectively assess the roster, turn over what needs to go and rehab what's salvageable. Someone like Flowers might be salvageable at guard or RT. No jobs are a given. The decay under the previous regime was so bad this past year was almost not a surprise. The amount of injuries were the killer but there was a poison in the air that infected the whole organization. A complete fumigation became necessary and as the air clears we can start to see the path forward.

Did you read the article? This isn't the Giants putting something out there. This is coming straight from Patricia.

I'll answer your ?. He didn't read the article.
You guys are correct I didn't read the article until just now so I was in the wrong my apologies.
This comment makes me glad he wasn’t offered the job Â
Doesn’t sound like he really wants to be a head coach.
He and former Patriots colleague Josh McDaniels — who spurned the Indianapolis Colts at the last minute to remain New England's offensive coordinator — both had secure enough jobs and enough interest from other teams that Patricia said they felt like they "were actually kind of interviewing (teams), they’re not really interviewing us."
But, I would be fine if we did. I just hope we didn't offer that Jackass McDaniel's the Job.
When you hear Patricia's view of things, it is interesting how he really didn't know what the Giants thought of him. Maybe the Giants liked him, but felt he had other interests (i.e., Detroit) so didn't follow-up?
They didn't offer it because he wasn't agreeable Â
he, like, does that thing where, you know, a head guy tells, like, players things to do, in the limited time allowed, before it's time to throw, or maybe pass, the ball better than he says words to people asking him things that require answers.
Obviously, sentence construction was not on the curriculum at RPI
I also can't help but note his transcribed comments don't exactly track with "the smartest guy in any room" reputation he has.
Now, lets get another picture of him beating the drum that we lost out on Patricia.

No, I think Schwartz was saying the same thing about him being the Giants top choice.

Why would Patricia lie?

But the whole comfort with personal grooming thing is off the hook.
