Here's a thought: Will #Eagles make a play for Kevin Stefanski and join #Giants? He has deep ties to Philly. He and Doug Peterson know many of same people. So many ties between #nyg #vikings #flyeaglesfly.
Seriously. At some point the guy is either interested or he isn't.
How is he the problem? I dont get this point. He is under contract. The Vikings have to give him permission. He doesnt control his own destiny in this situation.

This Stefanski guy is becoming a pain ITA and isn't worth the headache. Time to move on.

Exactly. He has been blocked from doing anything until the Vikings talked to DeFilippo. He was Minny's Plan B
The only way this makes sense is if Reich gets the HCing job in Indy.
I predict we hire Stefanski today, but if we don’t I’m not going to lose sleep over it.
It's not entirely his choice. This really isn't complicated.
I think you're right.

Are purple really this clueless? Good lord. He can't do anything unless the Vikings give the Giants permission.
Hahaha. You definitely have your finger on the pulse of the situation...
1. If Reich bolts for Indy and the offer in Philly is an OC position, I could definitely see him preferring Philly. That said, he seemingly knows and likes Shurmur, so we may still have the edge (although the overlap in coaching trees/system is significant...so that may not be enough).
2. If the choice is glorified QB coach/OC with the Giants or QB coach with the Vikes or Eagles, I ASSUME he'd take the Giants job, but there are factors that could lead him to pick one of the others. He knows the offensive personnel on the Vikes and was successful there. As noted above, the system/coaching tree overlap with Defillipo is there. Or, he could decide to hitch his wagon to Wentz (a pretty good idea, imo). Not as loft a title in the short term, but he may consider the long term trajectory to be better.
Waaaaaaaah waaaaaaaah. They always do it to us and we never do it to them!
God your posts are annoying.
If Stephanski can Choose, he should choose Philly...and That may land Staley here.
Sometimes, the best thing that can happen is what Should Happen.
