This is what happens when ESPN cuts staff down to the bone and hires a bunch of dorks fresh out of writing school, and they try to get the scoop on a "Sports News Story" the kid who came up with this story is probably so proud of himself, all while not even having the slightest idea that he just rewrote a sports story from 2008 and DURING THE SEASON! This goof doesn't even realize that Spring Training has yet to start. This is what happens when writers don't have a clue about what they are writing about!

ESPN is hiring people who have no idea about sports. Even if it said 2018 people in sports don't instantly know that Posada has been retired for almost a decade. Either that or they didn't check what they were printing

I think they'd have to make a 40-man roster move to promote Elston. Maybe waive Dan Pasqua?
