Adam Schefter Verified account @AdamSchefter 3m3 minutes ago Frank Reich has emerged as the favorite to become the new head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, who are hoping to hire the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator once they have negotiated a signed, sealed and delivered contract, per @mortreport and me. |
Bevell was likely ahead of Staley all along anyway. Duce was a beat writer creation despite the fact that Shurmur was very clear that he wants someone who has experience working with QBs for the OC position.
But, odds are still long that Philly grants us permission to talk to Duce. They probably don’t want him to leave regardless.
That would be a really good hire. For OC or QBs coach
Regardless of supposed experience as a coach the best offensive mind out there.
Why not at least to consider it

And when the Giants have to phase out Eli at some point, talk about awkward if Peyton was the OC....no thanks.
You could make a thread for that
He’d be much better off if he was the face of a NFL franchise, much like Magic Johnson is with the Dodgers.
