-It was one game but Mudiay was very, very impressive! I'm not saying he's a future star but he looked smooth and overall a very nice debut.
-THjr... 29 minutes 1 rebound?
-Frank looked solid along side Mudiay
-The Knicks are going to lose many games
Bringing in Prigioni would be a coup to mentor Ntilikina, Mudiay and Trey Burke, the 25-year-old 2013 lottery pick whom the Knicks signed last month.
Prigioni is in New York this week after being invited by the Nets to spend a week with them. According to a source, he’s learning all phases of Brooklyn’s basketball operation.

Mudiay looked good. Definitely looked comfortable at the point, which I can't say Frank ever really did.
Luke Kornet was awful. It happens, I guess.
Lance Thomas had two wide open kickout three pointers that didn't touch the rim. Fuck that guy.
And I was legitimately pissed when Jack started the game. Thankfully, he hit the bench and stayed there.
Mudiay/burke
Frank/Dotson
Hardaway/lee
Beasley/hicks
Kanter /kornet
If I never see jack and thomas play another minute in a Knicks uniform I will be very happy
Since he has been back he has just settled, yesterday he started attacking and looked better...
Stop just hoisting 3s
He should keep shooting, IMO.
He's having a bad stretch of games because he's a massive waste of $71 million. In other words, yes, he IS that bad.
Not particularly. He's a scorer who adds a little more but he's not anything special. He's inconsistent (always has been) and seems to let shooting impact all other facets. 14.2 PER, career 13.4, last year 15.2. There is no "next level". He's actually been worse this season than the previous 2 by WS/48. He's a solid player. Nothing more.

I don't even know what this comment means. He's having a bad stretch, because he's being paid too much? Your hatred for Hardaway has you losing sense.

He's the same guy who said Burke wouldn't be an upgrade on Jarrett fkin Jack. His hatred for Michigan is making his posts sound like the ramblings of a mad man.
This is 100% what happened.
Look at what Lou Williams just signed for ( 3/24 mill) for a player that is a better version of Hardaway but 31 years old.
I don't think hes a bad player and definitely flashes, but there was no reason for the Knicks to sign him to that type of deal. As someone said 3 for 50 would have been fine, but paying him 18 mill in that 4th year is a killer.
Jack, Lee, Ntilikina, Baker and Dotson was enough to cover the guard spots on a tanking team, but once again we had to spend in free agency to ensure 30 wins instead of 25. I have nothing against Timmy, but the timing for this deal just wasn't right. It reeks of Mills trying to score points with Jimmy Dolan.
Yesterday playing with another point and knowing he was going to get the minutes he played the most aggressive I think I have seen him all year...
Frank and mudiay could be a nice little pairing and we should see it for at least a season and a half because next year should be all young guys
However, even if the Knicks end up in the top 5, they still have to make the right choice as there is a lot of talent, but not a clear number #1.
My thoughts on him are as follows:
-unique size and uses it well when passing
-as pointed out by Jared Jeffries, a meek and finisher (b/c of mindset not physical limitations)
-jumper has improved to the point of being average
-size should result in greater rebounding and defensive prowess
-excellent handle and willing/talented passer
One comment on Frank: at no point did I ever thing he was a bad shooter (form wise), I just think his confidence wavers a bit and his limited "handle" prevents him from getting time/room to shoot
A. Get around pick 5-7 for that to even be possible(he can also end up going top 3, a lot to be decided)
B. Get lucky and win the lottery, which will never happen because good things don't happen to knicks fans.

He actually can hit pull up jumpers out of a pick and roll. That was refreshing.
With him hitting some twos and Frankie hitting some threes, you get reminded of how awful Jack is at shooting.

Looked like a far more natural PG than Frank. Better penetrator. His play around the basket is weird. Had one really great finish but he's kind of awkward there. He's not slight of build but plays that way a little bit. He's a bigger threat on the pick and roll than Frank because he's quicker and more of a threat to go to the hoop. Got to the hoop for a dunk which was pretty great.
Looked good with Frank on the floor at the same time. They looked pretty complimentary, which was nice to see.
Miles bridges is my guy unless Knicks get lucky and move up..
Marvin Bagley - Have not seen enough yet, but some people I respect fear he is a Marvin Williams type pro
Michael Porter Jr - Workouts are going to be key
Ayton - Interesting center prospect from the Joel Embiid comparisons, could be safest prospect, but does he fit in today's NBA
Muhammed Bamba - I have not seen him play
Luke Donavic - really impressed me in the Euro-cup, has a great motor, but what is his position in the NBA. A good, but not great shooter.
Again, a lot of question marks, although the Knicks have drafted ok in recent memory, even if they tank enough, they really will need to hit it.
Would be fun if this worked out and both guys developed into good NBA players.
Trae Young is barely 6'0, that is a difference in the NBA.
I like the idea of the Knicks taking a high risk high reward guy. Young has some of the tools to be a superstar and PG is so vital in today's NBA. Specifically one that can pass well. Knicks will probably be in the 5-8 range when all is said and done and you kind have to take a shot there. It's not like they have the 1 or 2 pick.
Pete-
"Against Texas and potential lottery pick Mo Bamba, Bagley had 34 points, 15 rebounds, three turnovers and just two fouls. He wasn't guarding Bamba throughout, but according to CBS Sports' tracking in the second half, he won more one-on-one battles for rebounds and scored more points on Bamba than vice-versa when the two were matched up.
"His second and third jump are as good as I've seen," one scout said. "
I'm not as high on Kevin Knox and Miles Bridges as others, especially the latter. Knox is very talented, but he's a 4 IMO. I see some people trying to project him as a 3 and I just don't see that. If he was drafted with the intent to play him at the 4, I would be fine with that. I think Bridges is a tweener. I'm not really interested in him at all.
Where did you hear that?
