NFT: Singer Island, FL restaurant recommendations needed

NYGmen58 : 2/13/2018 7:12 am
I’m heading down to Florida next week and will be staying on Singer Island for a couple of days. Can anyone suggest some good places to eat (whether casual/lunch or nicer dinner), ideally on the island but would consider options in close vicinity?

Any other advice on things to do/see in the area would also be appreciated.
A couple of suggestions....

- Sailfish Marina on Singer. Great location on intercoastal. Food ok, but you go there more for the atmosphere.
- Brass Ring. On the "mainland", but close. Awesome burgers!- Hurrican Cafe. For breakfast. It's in Jupiter, so a little drive, but well worth it!
- Guanabana's and/or Square Grouper. Both in Jupiter but great spots for some causal drinks!
Lived in the area for the last 25 years

Tons of great choices, but if you want real good seafood, 3 stand out. They are all within 20 minutes. Charlie’s Reef Grill in Juno and either Leftovers or The Food Shack in Jupiter are amazing. No reservations but go early and have a drink. Also a great hang out is the Square Grouper in Jupiter. Right on the inlet with great drinks and live music. Enjoy. Btw, there are also fine non seafood choices at all of them as well.
Head north to Jupiter

Guanabanas - best atmosphere you'll find. Good food and entertainment.

U-tiki - great fish and have to try u-tiki potatoes. Nice spot on the inlet with views of the lighthouse.

The Woods Jupiter - Tiger's place. Decent food. Good spot for shopping if you want.

1000 North - MJ's new place. Will be open very soon.

Square Grouper - Outdoor bar on the inlet. No food, but live music and reasonable drinks.

We tend to cycle through these spots when we visit. Can't go wrong really. We'll be down in April. Can't wait.
Another suggestion.

Stay away from Riviera Beach at the beginning of the causeway to Singer Island. Used to be the Car Jacking capital of the U.S.
U-Tiki
