I get the regular luge. Pretty cool. Guys flying down a hill on a sled going 80+mph but WTF is with 2 guys laying on each other in skin tight suits? Most winter Olympic sports have some connection to the military but show me the military (other than Greece) that did this.
Then again, it is 2018 and it's a snowflake world.
those were only added with the Modern games in 1924 and I don't believe have any military connection.
I appreciate the subtlety you used there :)
As seen in The Program.

LOL, I know, but in the OP he also said how:
and a) I explained that a) the original Olympics were summer sports only and b) I don't believe any winter Olympic sports have military connections that I know of (maybe biathlon) but did the military really shoot rifles while skiing? don't know.
That is pretty much my dads description of the time he was stationed in Alaska.
Existenz, is this the first time you ever heard dumb
shit on a 'football' sight? Right! Remember, when in
Rome, do as the Roman's do. Just like Jersey~
It is. Doubles luge is just that - doubles. There's no gender restriction. But practically, two men are going to be faster than a mixed team or team of two women. Pretty sure there have been mixed teams in some international competitions, but rarely.
I like the schtick those two have going on...it's fun.

Although I find it hard to not chuckle whenever they show Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski during figure skating.

I haven't watched this year, but supposedly Weir and Lipinski are excellent- knowledgeable, endearing and entertaining.
Luge is one thing BBI can reach consensus on. Not Politics. Not religion. Not Megan Fox. Not even whether the Eagles winning the super bowl is a good or bad thing.

That's an underrated special. Makes me die laughing.
Correct, comments from children; treat them as such.
