Is the movie worth a watch for the wife and I? She wants something “non-depressing”, she is down to watch it but she will fall asleep no matter what we choose, so I end up watching it and the reviews don’t look to good.
But is still a whole lot of meh. You can tell how hard they tried to add levity and copy the Marvel formula. I don't think they failed in that regard, the movie just has a terrible villain. A CGI mess of a villain.
and, also for the DC Tv guys like the new Black Lightning and Even Arrow to some extent...I am just so tired over the reluctant, angsty, broody, conflicted, whiny superhero. Man up and save someone with enthusiasm.
It doesn't come close to where Marvel has set the bar, but its worth a watch. The criticism of the villain is valid. This is the ultimate team up of superheroes and they go against an entirely generic CGI villain you have seen before any number of times.
But, its entertaining to the point where you can enjoy it without criticizing it for its missed opportunists
But there's some other fun stuff in there. Each time I see him in the role, Affleck as Batman kind of grows on me.
Not just because she is attractive but she plays her so well. Just for that reason I'd watch it. The Flash was also very funny.
