I'm more interested in the Breakdown and specifics of THE WHY'S.... Why will a Guy Succeed...Why will he Fail....stuff that tracks to The Underpinning Strengths and Exposures of each of the Propspects. I'm less interested in the conclusion about The Thumbs up or Thumbs down on any of these guys, or the "ranks"...whether it's from Mayock or Sy or any of the Experts who have provided incredible insights.
It's the most un-scoutable position in the draft. To start with, at least 80% of QB Play is Pre Snap....There are 168 hours in a week, and AT LEAST 144 of them are Pre Snap digestion of what IS and What is an available alternative.....including the last seconds of getting in or out of Disaster Players and Better Choices. Succeed at that, and you might be able to Survive...and That's the part that doesnt come off of film very easily, and a throwing session and a stop watch won't help you get around it very well. You need to Live With a Guy to know that stuff.
And this has me puzzled too: "...including the last seconds of getting in or out of Disaster Players and Better Choices...".
Does this translate to "including the last second or two of a play, a decision being made to avoid a disaster or select a better choice than my first (or second) read"?
