It’s important to realize that the Giants are fullly in a “Down “ cycle segment of team history. For them to get better, they must realize this. It’s time to throw the corpse out with the bath water. There is almost nothing that this special about this team anymore. Therefore, I caution against the one-year turnaround advocates. The problem is deeper than that. The solutions will require more than one off-season, are they to be properly done.
What’s needed is 2 additional , strong draft classes. Another 4-6 win season would not be a bad thing, viewed in this context. They need to find talent that doesn’t require the highest price tag you can pay-signing a veteran free agent from another organization to correct errors in judgment . They also need to find the quarterback who will lead them through the next “Up” era in team history.
