395.94 is for the Red Zone Channel and Fantasy Channel also. So the price is really changing from $281.94 to $293.94. Up $11 bucks!
According to tvanswerman.com, the basic Sunday Ticket package price is increasing from $281.94 in 2017 to $293.94 for games this fall. Add in a package that includes the Red Zone channel and the Fantasy channel, and the cost will be $395.94.
expensive last season, I won't pay $400 for it this year. I just don't watch enough football anymore to justify it. 10 years ago I would be glued to the TV all Sunday long. Today I just watch the Giants and maybe one other game all week. Many of my friends feel that same.
I see this crap every year. These are the same guys who sit in the drive up waiting to buy their Starbucks lotti-tottie bullshitting on their expensive I-phones sitting in their 10 mile per gallon suburbans. Its all a matter of priorities.
And steadily gone every year. I pay for the max package so my dad can use the internet version. It's not cheap, but legally what alternative is there. A bar will cost me the same or more and without the comfort. Plus I live outside of Philly... Here's one thing that they should be killed for. Two years ago they made the shortcuts available online only. I pay $400 and you force me to watch the games on a small screen when it was always available on the channel after midnight
lol, I honestly can't remember the last time I paid for it. One of these years I'll have to and I'll still be way ahead.
I used to wait every year until you posted your results online, sometimes it seemed like they paid you for the privilege of allowing you to watch the Sunday Ticket.
Now, I coach my youngest's hockey team and they travel practically every single Sunday or have home games that often coincide with football, so I got rid of DirecTV completely and just have FiOS and the red zone channel. I miss it a little, but just have other priorities right now.
I have no doubt you will wind up with a deal again this fall. Though I understand from some on here with AT&T becoming more pervasive in DTV it's getting harder to negotiate.
Of someone else. But $395 for every Giants games and all the other games is pretty good value, especially when you consider what it takes to attend a game.
of having it. If they make me pay I'll just cancel my service which I've been willing to do for a long time now. They just haven't let you go over this. I could just pay for a yr or two to watch Eli go out since I'm way ahead of the game.

I d pay much more.
Or...or.........or, every Giants game I get for free in HD via an OTA antenna.
Because, remember, 3 major BROADCAST networks have rights to air games. I'm not sure how $400/year is considered a good price when games are free over the air.

Not everyone is in market. My OTA games are Ravens and Redskins

But the original justification for shelling out $400 for Sunday Tickey was due to the cost of attending a game. Which really isn't a good justification.
I was, admittedly, being ridiculous on the other end of the spectrum.

DirecTV offers students the Sunday Ticket for $99. I used his college email address to sign up for the service.

THAT IS STEALING.
Ridiculous.
I can't do Redzone. I want to see the whole game, not just the scoring plays.
NFL has too many unrestricted deals.
I pay for DirectTvNow but can't watch any games on my phone because Verizon has unrestricted access to mobile game feeds.
With all due respect, this is how you get viewers to pirate your content.

Crazy.
Just sell an app and charge $15/mo like Netflix to everyone.
