Eli Apple for Martavis Bryant? Both guys could probably use a change of scenery and it would give us a 6'4" body with speed on the outside opposite OBJ. With JuJu emerging the Steelers might be willing to trade him for a former number 1. Thoughts?
considering our lockerroom. Our lockerroom was a disaster last year and you are bringing in a guy that won't make it better and would quite possibly make it worse.

Well would get some addition by subtraction. I am trying to find a way to get some return on a number 1 pick investment. What Eli did in our lockerroom last year has hurt his trade value. This is an exchange problems and hope a new environment helps both guys type of trade.
Bryant has had very public issues similar to Apple
but not Bryant. First off, he's been suspended how many times already? He's nearing Josh Gordon territory. Also,he seems to want to be the #1 option and we have 3 guys that are probably better pass catchers. I don't see him being happy as the 4th option when he's not happy as the 2nd.
APlle is WAAAY better than Bryant and less of a problem.
indicators of what a player will do on the field. He's big and fast (he ran a faster 40 than Beckham at their combine), but he's not a very good receiver.
with attitude/maturity problems for another talented young player with attitude/maturity problems? "Change of scenery" certainly isn't enough of a reason.
all through pre-season, there may be some hope for him. Else, explore trade options. It would be bad, very bad, to have back to back 1st round screw ups.
This is a good hypothetical trade that won't happen, but I dont see why anyone would think Apple is WAAYYY better than Bryant. They have both hurt their teams in different ways, both seem immensely immature and not top talent at their positions, but each seem to be able to be solid players and contributors to any NFL team if they can stay out of trouble and dont quit.
read his quotes last season, he's exactly what you don't want on your team. He's also got poor work habits, poor route running and hands to go with the poor brain.
You'd think that the Giants would bring in an organizational
consultant to try to help Apple mature and then mend fences with his teammates. If he can't do that he's likely done on the team..."a cancer" can't stay on a winning roster indefinitely.
But I think Gettleman holds Apple to be with the new coaching staff.
This is good info, you should start a new thread so everyone can see it and discuss.

Don't think anything where Slade is the source is worthy of a thread
