What do Marshawn Lynch, Ahmad Bradshaw, Saquon Barkley, and Ito Smith have in common? Well, at least to my eye, it appears they are all somewhat duck-footed. It means they'll never be the fastest of backs, but what it takes away from speed, it makes up for in lateral cutting ability and balance upon contact. It's why Bradshaw never seemed to go down when first hit and could play bigger than his size. After noticing it in Bradshaw and Lynch I made a mental note to pay special attention to duck-footed RB prospects in the future and it really stands out when you watch highlights of Barkley and Ito Smith. The downside is that all that lateral cutting that it allows for also puts a ton of stress on their ankles and feet. Foot injuries are why Bradshaw's career was cut short and why he missed so much practice time. Lynch seemed to weather it okay (still playing into his 30's), but I don't think the duck-footedness was as pronounced in him as it was in Bradshaw. It's very pronounced in both Barkley and Smith. I'd love to see the Giants steal Smith with one of their 4th round picks, preferably the comp pick. |
lol
Wonder about OB, and Stephen Baker and many, many of the other past Giant WRs/RBs that were deemed the fastest on the team?

it was determined that Barkley wasn't fast?
I didn't say he wasn't fast, what I meant was that duck-footed runners aren't going to be running in the 4.3's, but they can still be plenty explosive.
LOL. How many NFL RBs run 4.3s.

because you realized how dumb it was.
That would've been cowardly.
Haha, well I have to give you credit there.
LOL. How many NFL RBs run 4.3s.
So there are only 4 RB's with the same trait in common, even though basically the rest of their attributes are completely different? And it is like Ito Smith is thrown into the mix because you like him. 2 NFL vets and 2 guys in the draft that seem to have no other common traits are reposted in a thread - why exactly?
Hell, we even have a half-baked idea that the position of the feet made Bradshaw injury-prone, while Lynch wasn't, but Smith and Barkley could be.
What's the theory? That list of 4 backs is all over the place in size, speed and style. There is literally no conclusion that can be drawn here.
Why can't people mentally go through a thread idea before actually posting it so that we aren't left with absolute shit?
Seriously. What's next they can't run fast based on their shoe size. LOL

Why your turned out duck feet are trashing your body
Side note: I like swimmin with biw legged women
I would look for RBs who can cut from their inside leg. That’s what the greatest RBs can do.
Littering a message board with half-baked ideas and multiple threads about the same players over and over again.
Let me put this more clearly - you named 4 players with nothing similar about them than the appearance of their feet TO YOU.
Not a similar size. Not a similar speed. Not a similar style. Not a similar injury history.
You've tried to find some trait that tied 4 dissimilar backs together and offered a faulty and preposterous theory that isn't even backed up with facts.
And you wonder why you're called on the bullshit?
Isn't it almost time for another rosen thread?
Lynch had 14 documented injuries in the NFL. Only one was related to the foot:
Neither Smith nor Barkley have had issues.
Hell, if Bradsaw had healthy feet, you could add another trait that the 4 backs had similar....

Um they are all black AND duck footed, so..you know. That's two similar things! Also they play football
And none have been in my kitchen!! Now I'm hungry for black duck!!

Without Milton's Duck-footed and Bowl legged threads, where would I get my daily dose of comedy.
He was clocked at 22.9 mph on a TD run vs Michigan this year, which would've been the 2nd fastest top speed in the NFL in 2016 (only Tyreek Hill was clocked faster).
Then post a picture with you in them. That's when some reeal discussion will begin.
Trust me...
This may be one of the dumbest draft threads ever.
