have a chance to thrive in Shurmur's scheme like Latavius Murray did last year.
He needs a traditional running game to thrive. He was woefully misused in Philly and has been very good in Tenn when healthy. But that's now the kicker - how healthy can he stay?
He's a Backup goal line guy now. That is unless he was just badly hurt last year and is completely healed going forward. I don't doubt the former I do doubt the latter. No thanks. We need better.
Murray was actually awesome in 2016 - but it's obvious that Henry surpassed him this year as a runner. Henry's issue is that he's really not a pass catching RB, so he's going to be more limited to early down work.
Murray can play in the passing game but he's not a scatback like Kamara or McKinnon - he needs to be somewhere that he'll see early down carries between the tackles.
He was terribly miscast in PHI in 2015 - but Dallas knew he wasn't coming back, and despite him still being under 30, he carried the rock nearly 400 times in 2014.
If we were going to roll the dice on a RB who is shaking loose, Doug Martin would probably be a better gamble. I think he still has some explosiveness and can still play in the right spot.
I'd prefer to just get younger at the RB position.
I really like Gallman. He's not an every down, pound the rock RB - but he can play. Get another young guy here to pair him with and I think we'll be fine.
Or, we can just take Barkley and have an absolute stud in the backfield.

He was really ineffective last year.
I'd pass.
I think you might mean "camel toed". He's a 30 year old RB. If the Giants are desperate, give him a 1 year incentive based contract, else pass.
