Matt Miller, with quotes (albeit anonymous) scouts and league executives on each of the top 6.
I don't necessarily buy into all the player comparisons, but the thoughts on the players might be telling about where the league may be different than all of us/twitter/media/etc.
Draftscout QB feedback - (

that's probably the worst comparison I've ever heard for any prospect.
He nearly hit 70% in 2013
The folks he spoke to about Jackson did not seem to excited about him as an NFL QB....might be along the lines of what Polian sees/hears.

Agreed. I thought I read it wrong. Allen = big arm, low completion %. Rivers = average arm, high completion %. Perfect match.
He has the best physical attributes (can't teach that) but great football smarts (can teach that). He'd fit in very nicely as a student the Giants' "New QB Academy" with another football knowledge junkie, Davis Webb.
Also, I haven't read much about the gorilla in the room with Rosen: two concussions already. That's two huge injury strikes against a static pocket passer. Those injuries can't be undone; they never really "heal" in the traditional sense.
Remember Steve Young quit after his bell was rung for the fifth time, as I recall, and he admitted that was one or two too many.

5. Good news for NFL draft fans—ESPN announced that Kirk Herbstreit will join the desk to break down players. Herbstreit will take Jon Gruden's place on the main desk and should add great energy to the crew. He also knows these players well after watching them all in college over the past three or four seasons.
Yeah, that's nice. However, getting direct commentary from NFL scouts on these QBs is more impactful. It leads me to believe that Josh Allen is more of a possibility at #2, IF Darnold is gone, than many would have thought.
The commentary on Mayfield and Jackson is pretty brutal for potential Top 10 picks.

Agreed. Allen and Rivers are nothing alike.
And that's not the first time we've heard that type of thing about him. That's is my worry about this guy. It seems that he might be the type that when the going is good, he's good, when things aren't, well..
Wut?
