What's up with Bart Scott and his Eli hate. Every time something comes up with Eli he dumps on him. Today he told a caller that Eli led the league in INTs the last 3 years? Wrong! Then told another caller that Eli is not a top 25 QB or in the league. A little while later he said that among NFL players that really matter and know the truth it's not even close between Phillip Rivers and Eli. This guy has a hard on for Eli. Maggie tries to call him out on some of it but he just over talks her and acts like " well I played so I know". The guy is an ass. Beyond that the show kinda sucks and I have found myself listening to more PHILLY sports radio and that hurts my brain at times. What is his problem
He was probably involved in covering up the SB paintings at MetLife before Eli and Cruz ripped his heart out on Christmas Eve.
Jealousy and Envy.
but make no mistake eli has been awful the last couple seasons.
He’s a baby back bitch
He tried to create that same controversy today. Some of these guys can never admit they were wrong.
I don t listen very long to them. Sometimes when like today when I m working around the house I tune in for a bit.
But I agree, they aren t very good
Miss Mike
Today Bart Scott said Eli is not a top 25 QB, but during the first week of the show he said the only difference between Tom Brady and Eli Manning at this stage of their career’s is arm strength.
I’m in the car all day and try to listen, but they are absolutely painful to listen to when talking baseball. Although 90% of their content is what the Giants and Jets will do at QB moving forward. I have no clue what they are going talk about, and how awful they will be from after the NFL draft to the start of training camp.
I was just breaking your balls...but the truth is, that’s the schtick they’re going for - say a bunch of obnoxious stuff, get fans riled up, and get people talking about them.
It’s a brutal show. Im thinking of going to Sirius
Early ratings returns are not good for this crew so far.
bingo
And Eli has led the league in interceptions during three separate seasons of his career and has thrown more interceptions than any other QB (by 30, IIRC) since he entered the league. Bart Scott may have gotten his exact stats wrong, but his overall point is probably valid.
It annoys me to defend Scott, because I think he's a painful listen, but let's not pretend like Scott being factually inaccurate means we should all of a sudden ignore Eli's declining performance.

However reference actual facts, acknowledge the lack of talent. He touted Rivers while calling Eli high int totals, ignoring Rivers has led the league in ints two of last four years.

facts not allowed in the eli cult club.
I don't normally lay stuff like this much mind because people have been dumping on Eli for more than a decade. Personally, I don't think he sucks now, nor did I ever. I also don't think he has significantly regressed. But, I can understand someone making an intelligent argument that he has. This is not one of those.
I truly think the Giants offensive problems the last 2 years have a lot more to do with McAdoo's system and a terrible OL, which are related. Apparently, their new HC and GM, both highly respected, seem to feel the same way.
Are there really 25-30 other QBs he would take over Eli? Would Eli not instantly make his beloved Jets a better team?
For Eli's entire career? The offense is to blame for him throwing more interceptions (and having more fumbles, by the way) than any other QB since he entered the league? Is he just a conveyor belt worker in the turnover factory?

Of the offense as a whole.

2005-2011- terrific qb 2012-2017 mediocre qb

to anything those three have to say about baseball. Hopefully they inherited Francesa's summer vacation schedule so WFAN can get some intelligent folks in there to talk Yankees and Mets.

There are no options on the drive home anymore. Yesterday I turned on the radio at 6PM on way home from work and these clowns are commenting on useless facts that the producer is throwing out at them. Switch over to Kay's show and they are doing another stupid ENN with that clown Rosenberg. It does not get any worse. Prime time drive home in NY and you have this garbage. What happened to the hometown NY Sports talk Radio.
They don't even do much of a good job at trying to hide it here either. Same old boring shit.

that notifies them every time Eli’s name is mentioned in a discussion, so they can jump on ASAP to dump on him
