Amazing, but disturbing. The Callister episode was fantastic. So thought provoking. I mistakenly made it the last thing I watched before hitting the sack...so of course...the whole thing was running through my mind...so much to think about and such a cool concept.
GREAT! Now a season 5! Even Better....with a snowstorm on the horizon! LOL
The Netflix family of shows. The first three seasons were awesome and I think it was due to the fact it wasn’t overly popular. The actors were relative unknowns and the funding appeared to be on a smaller scale. This recent season was good but a little disappointing. They kind of went big with better known actors and funding. I’m hoping it doesn’t become too big and start trying too hard by getting away from its roots. Great show for the most part though.
I didn't think they would be able to top San Junipero Â
Jon, Hamm, Kelly Macdonald, Domhnall Gleeson, Toby Kemmel, Alice Eve, Mackenzie Davis, etc...
Well maybe for someone like me that doesn’t watch a lot of movies or television they weren’t well known. It just seems like they are gunning for a big production budget style show instead of creative and small budget. Just my opinion and I didn’t say I hated the season but it had some signs they were going that direction, if you ask me.
I couldn't get through the first 15 minutes. It was such a snooze. What am I missing?
Agreed. That was arguably my least liked episodes. Interesting enough concept but it didn’t appeal to me. But that’s one of the great things about the show. Each episode appeals to different viewers for various reasons such as age, culture, station in life, etc...
The episode that sat with me most and messed with my head was the episode where the people are blackmailed by hackers that use their cameras to record them in compromising positions. Dear lord, that was disturbing.

Maybe, I didn't notice any big change in production... It's definitely caught on via word of mouth... I know a lot of people couldnt get past season 1, episode 1 and i get that...
But as far as going for more big name actors in season 4, all of those actors that I listed from seasons 1-3 have starred in major feature films and/or a hit TV series...
Judgement. It was almost like a movie. Lasted almost as long as your average theater movie and had some noticeable actors to me. To each their own though. And I can totally understand why some people decided not to watch after season 1 episode 1. I initially had my doubts after that episode too. But I guess it was a good “lead off hitter” so to speak. Really grabbed the viewers attention haha.
make longer seasons please

Sometimes I have to turn them off and go back to finish them later.

San Junipiero is a work of art. One of the best episodes of tv of all time.
