Daniel Jeremiah's Post Combine Rankings

DonnieD89 : 3/7/2018 12:21 pm
I just came across this and thought he had interesting assessments. Hope you enjoy.

interesting that his QBs
gidiefor : Mod : 3/7/2018 12:26 pm : link
don't start till 8

and then are densely packed on the 8-15 range
I would venture to say
Rocky369 : 3/7/2018 12:33 pm : link
that's always/most of the case, when looking at the players individually. It's how QB is valued that bring them to the top of the round.
Wow he dropped Billy Price 19 spots

Seems kind of excessive for an “incomplete pectoral tear” injury. The guy did start 55 straight games in college.
It looks from his rankings that
Bill in UT : 3/7/2018 12:35 pm : link
the Giants should be able to get a good OL at 34. Plus, Orlando Brown not in his top 50
Barkley and Nelson
Chris684 : 3/7/2018 12:38 pm : link
holy shit..

"nastiest OL I've ever evaluated"

You don't think a guy like that changes this team?
The first two things that I noticed
DonnieD89 : 3/7/2018 12:42 pm : link
In his rankings were the significant drop in his assessment on Billy Price and also the absence of Orlando Brown.

Another thing that I have noticed is the rankings of the running backs and offensive lineman towards the second round. I think it would be a great idea to talk to Cleveland about the fourth pick and picking up two of their second routers to get three high second rounders. If they do not have the opportunity or not take Barkley at number two, that would be ideal to pick up both a running back and offensive lineman in the early second round. They could get Nelson at 4.

They could pick up one of the quarterbacks at number 4 also. I think the Giants are at an envious position.
Good rankings

And reflects why I am against reaching over better players to fill a QB need. None of these guys have top of the draft talent

Agreed .. Notre dame tackle Mike Mcglinchey and Oregon tackle Tyrell Crosby would be nice in Round 2
D,J. Moore WR out of Maryland ranked #46...
M.S. : 3/7/2018 12:53 pm : link

... I think he's gonna be an NFL superstar.
Only 3 WRs in his top 50, highest being Ridley at 23
mfsd : 3/7/2018 1:02 pm : link
Feels like a draft where the WR depth is in the rounds 2-4 range...IMO a good chance Giants draft a QB or Saquon at 2, best available hog molly at 34, then start looking at DE/LB/CB and WRs in rounds 3 and 4
Agreed on one thing

None of the QB's carry elite grades

Well, you obviously you didn't see my boy Tanner Lee kill it at the Combine... ;)

Seriously, he really tested well.

I saw 8 of his games this year. The word "elite never came across my mind.

I hear you. Just being flip. But he threw the ball great at the Combine.

Was wondering - what are your thoughts on the corner Ava0te Maddox out of Pitt?

He stood out to me last year, not as much this year. He is so small, almost too small and it does show up on tape. The short limbs and speed helped his solid workout numbers, but I don't see a top tier athlete on tape. UDFA type

Did you have elite grades on Goff, Wentz, Matt Ryan, Pat Mahomes, Deshaun Watson? I am not expecting any of these QB's to be Peyton Manning but if we could get a Matt Ryan then I would be thrilled.

Thanks - I take it you see him as a dime/slot type? I see a bit of Brent Grimes in him...
Just heard Donte Jackson interviewed on Sirius...

...kid sounds like a real worker with a great attitude.

Discussion included the fact that training for track his whole life would indicate he'll put on some bulk when it's all football.
